2 About Scarecrow Fest The 30th Annual St. Charles Scarecrow Fest - takes place October 9-11 in St. Charles, Illinois. Produced by the Greater St. Charles Convention and Visitors Bureau in conjunction with Ravenswood Event Services, this nationally-recognized festival famous for its unique scarecrow displays is intended to celebrate and promote the Greater St. Charles area while bringing visitors, local residents and businesses together. In addition to the more than 100 charming scarecrows on display in Lincoln Park, each year the fest features activities and events the whole family can enjoy including Make Your Own Scarecrow, Windy City Amusement Carnival, Great Tastes of Greater St. Charles, Vintage Market, and the Autumn on the Fox Arts & Crafts show in Pottawatomie Park. Visitors will also enjoy many areas of live entertainment all weekend long. NEW this year will be the Soda Pop Tour which will be held in the municipal lot. This festival within the festival will be sure to attract a crowd! Last year, Scarecrow Fest attendance was estimated at around 120,000 over the course of the three-day event. Also in 2012, the festival received national exposure on NBC s Today Show that highlighted the event as one of the country s top five fall festivals. It has also been recognized multiple times as one of the Top 100 Events in North America.

3 Why You Should Take Part? It is a community festival that will attract thousands of people with a broad demographic reach located in one of Chicago s most affluent areas. By having exhibit space at the event, you have the opportunity for oneon-one interaction with your customers, or potential customers. Sponsorship provides a great means of broadening your competitive edge by improving your companies image, prestige and credibility by supporting events that your target market likes. Driving Sales- sponsorship geared to driving sales can be an extremely potent promotional tool. This objective allows sponsors to showcase their product attributes.

6 Festival Zone Sponsor (four available) - $5,000 The Scarecrow Fest is divided into four areas to help attendees navigate throughout the grounds using a color-coded Scarecrow Festival map. Each zone will be given a title. These zones can be sponsored and include names of businesses and brands. These zone titles are used on the event website, Scarecrow Festival map, directional signage, stage announcements, information booths, etc. In promotional and informational material, zone sponsors will be referred to as X Zone. Each fest zone sponsor will also have a 10x10 display space including a tent, one table, two chairs and electricity.

7 Soda Pop Tour Festival - $20,000 Business/brand as the presenting sponsor of the Soda Pop Tour which is a soda pop festival being held in the Municipal Lot The tour will feature craft soda pops for tasting, the ability to bottle and purchase 6 packs of flavors of your choice, an inflatable kids area and much more All promotional and information materials will list the activity as the Soda Pop Festival Tour presented by X Name and logo on festival website Stand-alone booth space either within the tour space or anywhere throughout the festival with tent table and chairs next to your sponsored activity

8 Make Your Own Scarecrow Sponsor - $9,000 Branding of MYOSC events as Make Your Own Scarecrow presented by X on brochure (approx. 20,000 printed) Wherever mentioned in printed, informational or on-line materials the activity will be referred to as the Make Your Own Scarecrow presented by X Sponsored by X signage within the Filling Station Lot (where MYOSC takes place) prominently displayed near the activity Includes Zone Sponsorship of the Filling Station Lot. Area will be called the X Zone on all printed, informational and online materials Name and logo and link (when applicable)on festival website and in advertising 10x10 display space including tent, table, chairs and electricity in or near the activity (to be chosen by sponsor)

13 TROLLEY DISPLAY Opportunity to brand Trolley(s) that travel throughout the festival grounds all weekend transporting guests from one part of the event to the other.
