Standard tests Maps Open Response Creating a Newscast Small Group Activity: Assign a newsworthy topic either past or present. Briefly discuss content and style of Radio and TV newscasts. Assign students roles of researchers, writers and anchors. Rough drafts must be submitted and final versions to be performed in class. Students evaluate final newscasts as performed by each group both as to content and delivery. English Provide students with a list of sources to find Southeast Asian folktales.
