2 Equipment Derwent Industries has been undergoing a wide array of upgrades which has added to its existing infrastructure. 3 Sand Reclamation Facilities Derwent Industries recently upgraded its sand reclamation for its Ribbon Flow Production Line, with a new WES Reclamation unit. Enabling 70% reclamation of sand back into production. WES Sand Reclamation

4 Furnace Capabilities Derwent Industries has 2 Induction Furnaces both supplied and maintained by Inductotherm 500 KG 1000 KG

5 CNC Machining Capabilities Derwent currently has 2 CNC Machines, and is looking at expanding this further. Design packages include Auto Cad Inventor and Gibbscam to interface to machines. Quantum S-1000D -4 Axis - Anilam Control 3 Axis CNC - Anilam Control

7 Material Grades The following are examples of the grades of material Derwent can produce: Cast Iron Grades Ductile Iron Grades Carbon Steels for low temperature service e.g. LCC Grade Carbon Steels for elevated temperature service e.g. WCB, WCC Grade Alloy Steels for elevated temperature service e.g. WC6, WC9 Grade Stainless Steels for high temperature and corrosive service e.g. CA6NM, CF8M Grade Duplex Stainless Steels for corrosion, cavitation erosion, stress corrosion and pitting resistance e.g. CD4MCu, CD3MN Carbon steels for general engineering requirements. Pearlitic manganese steels for general purpose medium strength applications. Chrome alloy steels for abrasion resistant applications. Low alloy steels for general engineering and medium strength requirements.

8 Material Grades Chrome Molybdenum alloy steels for medium and high strength general engineering, valves fittings and pressure containing parts including elevated temperature and corrosion service. Nickel Chromium Molybdenum alloy steels for medium and high strength general engineering applications, earthmoving wear parts, transport and mining. Stainless steels for corrosion and heat resistant applications. Duplex stainless steels for superior strength, corrosion, pitting and cavitation erosion resistance. Manganese steels for high impact resistance, work hardenining capabilities and wear resistance for use in mining, earthmoving and quarry applications. Austenitic Iron grades for resistance to heat corrosion and wear. Abrasion resistant high chromium white iron grades for use in power, cement and mining applications for pulverising,crushing, grinding. Abrasion resistant nickel - chrome white iron grades for high wear applications such as pipes, pump impellers, liners and plate fittings.

9 Blast Room Derwent has recently installed a new blast room to aid in the throughput of castings through the facility. The new blast room will enable Derwent to effectively handle larger water and industrial casting right through the process. Blast Room Dimensions

10 Coating Facilities Derwent in conjunction with other plant upgrades has installed a Rilsan/Nylon 11 coating facility. The facility includes: New Blast Room to prepare casting for coating New Primer Wet Spray booths New Nordson Nylon 11 Spray Room incorporating fluidized bed Batch Oven to allow for heating of full range of casting sizes Nordson Booth
