2 Take Care New York: A History City-wide strategy with identified priorities and goals Initially launched in 2004 with ambitious and measurable goals in 10 areas to prioritize action Take Care New York 2012 launched in Over five-years we achieved: Progress in 32/42 indicators (76%) Goals met or exceeded in 17/42 indicators (40%) Life expectancy at an all-time high and infant mortality rates at an all-time low
