2 INTRODUCTION Capsule Arts is a boutique art consultancy founded in 2012 to bring bespoke art commissions to interior design projects across the Middle East. Acknowledging the need for affordable, high-quality art in the local market, we launched a collection of limited edition art prints in 2013, with a second collection added in September 2014.

3 Co-founders Deepa Bhatia and Rachael Brown each have over ten years experience of working with International artists for hospitality art projects, art commissions, exhibitions and events. Our team have an experienced skill set in the field of art and design, from technical know-how to procurement and logistics, to branding, PR and communications. 4 A BESPOKE SERVICE At Capsule Arts we aim to work with our bespoke clients from the initial concept stage, delving into the design project to fully understand the intention. This allows us to provide a truly integrated approach to the art and design package. By working with artists that unite creativity and innovation with technical skill and craftsmanship, we can effectively commission bespoke art creations that are valuable to the client s portfolio and which also work in harmony with a property s design and functionality. Our varied portfolio of artists caters to all tastes and budgets, from artist commissions and original artworks, to prints. In addition to working with artists, Capsule Arts works with an extensive portfolio of design companies and craftsmen. We can provide styling to projects with the selection, procurement and placement of free standing and wall sculptures, accessories and design objects. We can also provide visual merchandising for commercial outlets. From residential projects to hotels, hospitals, offices, restaurants, and public spaces, our team works directly with your project designer and is with you at each step from developing an artwork concept, through to selecting and commissioning art, procurement, framing and installation.

6 THAT ARTISTIC TOUCH As a UAE-based company, we have strong representation of artists in the region, and we also work with a wide range of International artists who bring something fresh to the local market. Each artist has a unique yet flexible style and is experienced in working with project commissions. At Capsule Arts we take our artist relationships seriously. We always respect their intellectual property when proposing concept drawings and we ask our clients to do the same in our service agreement.

8 HOW WE WORK Step by Step Getting Started Seting a brief There are a few things that we ll need to know to get started, so it s important to share a brief about your design project with us. Things to keep in mind when forming your brief are: The location and function, or intention of the space - is it a hotel lobby area, a restaurant, or hospital, and what kind of people will use the space? The Interior design concept is it thematic, contemporary or traditional? The aim of your art package - are you building a corporate art collection, are you interested in works of cultural significance, or is the artwork purely for aesthetic purposes. Identifying key areas for artworks, accessories and sculptures. The dimensions of the artworks required. AutoCAD plans and elevations, interior perspectives, and furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) information. Available budget. The timeframe for selection and completion of the project. Consultation What we offer Once we receive the brief, a service agreement detailing the scope of work and our services, a suggested time frame, and fees for consultation will be sent to you for approval before we commence the project. Proposal Selection and samples Once appointed, our team will then propose an art or accessories selection with budget estimates for review. Working with the interior design team Capsule Arts will reach a final selection based upon concept drawings, and can work on samples to confirm the final order. Confirmation Approvals and confirmation Once the proposal and budget has been approved, the appropriate paperwork and documentation is needed to confirm the order and for production to begin. Working with artists and suppliers Commissioning and procurement We work with a selection of artists and suppliers with whom we have a close working relationship. This allows us to maintain strong dialogue during the commissioning and production process, ensuring the required finishes are professionally executed. Depending on the art selection, a project can involve working with art prints, original artworks or new commissions, which all plays a factor in the timeframe. Capsule Arts can also provide styling for projects, from selection and procurement of accessories through to the placement. Complete project management Framing and installation To complement the artwork and interior design, our team selects suitable framing and fixings, and oversees the process through to installation. Finishing touches Documentation To complete the design project Capsule Arts can provide documentation of the art collection, detailing information about the artists and artworks selected. This can take the form of wall plaques or even a publication like a coffee table book. BESPOKE PROJECTS
