Verizon Auto Share provides a secure, self-service system so you can efficiently manage your fleets and control cost without having to add headcount. Auto Share allows you to provide vehicles as loaners during repairs or for renting or sharing in an unattended model, or to be reserved in a public or private fleet. Using a mobile-based application on a smartphone or tablet, your users can connect to Verizon s 4G LTE network. They can quickly and easily search, locate and reserve nearby vehicles available to rent or share. Verizon Auto Share What is Verizon Auto Share? How do I access the mobile application templates? What devices will the application be available on? Can I use Verizon Auto Share on my PC? Do I need to have the physical key? How can I reduce expenses with Verizon Auto Share? Verizon Auto Share is Verizon s entry into the sharing economy. Peer-to-peer sharing is when individuals are able to borrow or rent assets owned by someone else. The sharing economy model is used when the price of a particular asset is high and the asset is not fully utilized all of the time. The solution can also be used to enable motor vehicle pooling to improve efficiencies and reduce costs. A link to the customizable mobile application templates will be sent to you by your Verizon representative. The Verizon Auto Share will be available on Android and ios devices, including phones and tablets. Yes. You can use all of the features of Verizon Auto Share on your PC except for Scan & Go, which requires a mobile device with a camera. Yes. Verizon Auto Share will allow you to control basic vehicle commands such as lock, unlock, sound horn and start/stop engine. You do need the physical key in order to drive the vehicle. By contrast, Networkfleet only provides GPS tracking and tools for administrative reporting. Also, if the vehicle is compatible, Auto Share offers remote keyless entry and remote start. Verizon Vehicle is a direct-to-consumer offering that logs consumer vehicle data and offers features such as roadside assistance. Auto Share is an enterprise platform-as-aservice (PaaS) offering. Not all vehicles will be supported and, in those instances, custom work is required. If Verizon s help is necessary, our Professional Services can assist for an additional cost. Prices range from $150 to $300 per vehicle to enable a variety of features from keyless entry to passive arming.

3 Will Verizon perform application customization and integration services? How is this billed? What happens if there is no coverage where my vehicle is located? How do I access the vehicle? What happens if someone loses their phone or the battery is dead? How do I open the door if the keys are still inside? For an additional fee, Verizon will customize the mobile app templates and manage the Apple and Google app-store certification process. Please see your Verizon business specialist for details. A vehicle will only show up in the Cars Near Me search if it is registered with the platform, available for rental and visible to the network. 4 QR Code How do I get the QR code? Is there a minimum quantity that I must order? What happens if the QR code is damaged and I need a new one? Can anybody get vehicle information by scanning the QR code? How long does it take for me to receive the QR code? Do I need a new QR code if I replace the Delphi module? What information is stored on the QR code? You will receive a standard 2 by 2 QR code as part of your order. Custom QR codes are included with Professional Services for an additional cost. There is no minimum quantity required for ordering standard QR codes. Custom QR codes will require a minimum of 100. You can order a replacement QR code. You will need to have your administrator order the new QR code and then assign it to the correct vehicle in the Verizon Auto Share Console. No. Only registered users can scan the QR code using Verizon Auto Share. Standard QR codes are shipped within five business days. Custom QR codes take an average of 10 business days. No. You are able to associate the new Delphi module to the existing QR code through the Verizon Auto Share Console. QR codes contain unique identification numbers and do not store any vehicle data. The Verizon Auto Share Console allows you to associate each QR code to a specific vehicle. Verizon Auto Share Credentials How do I get login credentials? What happens if I forget my password? Can I use my company s existing credentialing services? How does Verizon Auto Share confirm my identity? Should I select Remember Password on my phone? User credentials are a standard feature of Verizon Auto Share and can be customized by the fleet administrator. Press the Request New Password command. Yes. Verizon Auto Share can be integrated with your organization s back-end system to validate identity. Verizon Auto Share uses standards-based identification processes during login before using the application and then again before completing rental or reservation. This is defined by the Verizon Auto Share customer (rental agency, fleet owner, etc.). We recommend that you manually enter your password each time to keep your password safeguarded.

Can I remove users who are no longer with the company? How do I manage vehicle status and availability? Can I run a report of all vehicles that are currently rented? How can I tell which users have access to the Verizon Auto Share Console? Can the installer view other vehicles in my fleet? Once a contract has been agreed to, your implementation manager will create an account for you. Yes. You can specify which commands will be available to the end user, based on the organization s business rules and policy. As an administrator, you can add, edit, delete and assign user roles. You can manage vehicle status in the vehicle detail section. You can change vehicle status to inactive to hide it from the search. The Verizon Auto Share Console allows you to generate reports based on vehicle type, rental status and upcoming reservations. An administrator or person with applicable authority can query specific users or view a list of all users with their roles and permissions via the Console.
