No. 112 of 2014 EUROPEAN UNION (ANIMAL HEALTH) (ADAPTATION) REGULATIONS 2014 I, SIMON COVENEY, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (Animal Health) (Adaptation) Regulations 2014 and come into operation on 6 March A reference in a provision mentioned in Schedule 1 to authorised officer is construed and has effect as if the reference includes a reference to an authorised officer within the meaning of section 2 of the Animal Health and Welfare Act An authorised officer, within the meaning of an instrument mentioned in column (2) of Schedule 2 may, in substitution for the powers mentioned in column (4) opposite that mention, exercise any or all of the powers mentioned in section 38 of the Animal Health and Welfare Act Each instrument mentioned in column (2) of Schedule 2 is repealed to the extent specified in column (3) of that Schedule opposite that mention.
