2 Randall & Daniels Electrical Ltd was established in 1959 as an electrical contracting and engineering company to provide electrical and instrumentation engineering support to the developing industrial process industries in South Wales including oil refineries, petrochemical and chemical plants. 50 years on whilst we continue to provide ongoing support to our valued clients within existing market sectors we have expanded our client base to include a variety of process industries including power generation, pharmaceuticals, gas storage and transmission, automotive, fine chemicals, iron and steel, onshore and offshore process equipment skid manufacturers. A significant part of our business is the design, supply and installation of electrical trace heating systems, where we have developed a close relationship with Raychem / Tyco Thermal Controls. As an approved distributor and installer we support their full range of industrial and commercial trace heating systems and underfloor heating products. Quality Approvals Our quality management system has been assessed by the NQA and registered to BS EN 9001:2008 certificate number This approval covers: The design, manufacture and installation of industrial, electrical and instrumentation systems The supply, design and installation of trace heating systems The manufacture of control panels The fabrication and coating of metal products We are a registered member of the ECA and are also an NICEIC approved contractor holding both the approved contractor and hazardous area contractor accreditations. 3 Electrical and Instrumentation Services We undertake electrical instrumentation work throughout the UK and have significant experience in hazardous area process plant installations with systems installed by CompEx trained staff. Our installation services include: Cable tray Ladder racking Power cabling Control panels Switchgear installation Instrumentation cabling Instrumentation pipework Process skid installations Hazardous area testing and inspection E&I Skid Installations Randall & Daniels has significant experience in the installation of electrical systems, instrumentation systems, small bore stainless steel pipe work and trace heating on process skid assemblies. Examples of these skids are: Pump skids Metering skids Gas turbine skids Gas filtration skids Oil processing skids Gas pressure reduction skids Water treatment skids Electrochlorination skids These have been manufactured to exacting standards for end clients throughout the world.

4 Trace Heating Services Since the inception of the Company, we have been involved in the design, supply and installation of all aspects of electrical trace heating systems. These cover a wide range of industrial, petrochemical, offshore and commercial applications. These include: Pipe frost / freeze protection Pipe temperature maintenance Long line heating Temperature raise and maintain Tank and vessel heating Tank and foundation frost heave Snow and ice melting Ramp heating Underfloor heating Hot water (HWS) temperature maintenance Legionella prevention With over 50 years of experience, and in association with Raychem, we endeavour to offer the most appropriate heater technology and associated components and systems for every application. These include: Self regulating Constant wattage Mineral insulated Heated jackets Power cables Control panels Testing and inspection Product training Thermal insulation e-commerce We also distribute our trace heating products via our e-commerce online shop: Here we offer a comprehensive range of Raychem industrial, commercial, under floor heating and leak detection cables and components. 5 Control Panels We have a dedicated workshop facility for the manufacture and assembly of a wide range of control panels to meet the individual client s requirements. These panels include: Instrument panels Trace heating panels Electrical control panels PLC based control panels Pneumatic control panels Complete instrument analyser systems and buildings Hazardous Area Inspections As part of our contracting services, and as an NICEIC hazardous area approved contractor, we provide a hazardous area (ATEX) inspection service. This is undertaken by CompEx trained staff in accordance with the requirements of BS EN and the client s particular procedures and systems. We carry out these inspections for clients that may only have a few items, to clients that have thousands of items for inspection.

6 Leak Detection Systems We design, supply and install Raychem TraceTek leak detection cables, components and control panels to provide an alarm and monitoring facility for the detection of water and oil leaks. These products are typically used in critical industrial, historic, commercial and environmentally sensitive locations to provide indication of water or oil leaks before any extensive damage takes place. Typical applications are: Computer / IT rooms Electrical switch rooms Storage tank bunds Machinery and elevator pits Museums and libraries Workshop Facilities In addition to our contracting facilities we operate an in-house fabrication facility with the capability to fabricate in aluminium, stainless steel and carbon steel. The fabrication facilities include: TIG welding MIG welding 2.4m guillotine 2.4m press break Powder coating plant Various drilling stations 650m 2 workshop Having these facilities provides the contracting section with the capability to fabricate various bespoke brackets, stands and frameworks, providing an enhanced cost effective service to our various clients.
