Click the Edit User tab. Yu will get the User Details screen (shwn belw) Update user (prfile & pht) (can mark keep private t any infrmatin)

2 Hme Page Overview & Site Navigatin Hme Page Cmpnents The Hme Page prvides a drpdwn navigatin menu with links t the varius sectins and subsectins/pages f yur website Other sectins include: Calendar, Quick Links, News and Events, etc. Tip: Click Hme t return t the Hme Page r t g back t the district main page Can als use yur schl s lg t return t the hmepage at any time The Breadcrumb tl tells yu where yu are n the site. This is a very handy feature which yu shuld always utilize t navigate within yur site (see example f a breadcrumb belw). Basic Page Authring Adding a Cntent Space Page T add additinal pages t yur page, simply return t the gray tlbar n tp f the page hver yur muse ver Page Prperties, scrll dwn t Add New Page, and click n Cntent Space Page. Remember t return t yur hme page if yu wish t add sub-pages. If yu wish t have a sub-page within a subpage then g t the main sub-page yu wish t add it under. After clicking n Cntent Space Page yu will be prmpted t name yur new page

3 Click n Create Page and this will lead yu t SharpSchl s WYSIWYG editr. 4 T select an image frm yur cmputer, click n Uplad. Select the image by clicking n Select, and click Uplad. T resize an image: Either click n the image and drag it t the size required r right-click n the image and click Prperties. 5 Use PDF files whenever pssible Hyperlink Manager: Allws yu t link selected text t anther website r dcument Enter the Link Text, Tltip, and the URL and click OK Page Link This tl can be used t create a link t anther page n the schl s website Media Manager: Yu can use this tl t insert media nt yur page, such as MP3 audi files r AVI vide files Wrking with Page Tls Manage sub-pages T change the rder f pages, t hide, shw, r archive a page, hver yur muse ver Page Prperties, scrll dwn and click n Manage Sub-Pages. This will pen a pp-up windw with all the sub-pages under the parent page. Reminder: The gray tl bar is specific t the page yu are viewing. If yu select Manage Sub-Pages frm the hme page, then yu will nly see the sub-pages directly under the hmepage. Shw: Keeps page visible t the public Hide: Hides the page, but keeps it accessible t yu Changing the rder f yur pages: Users have the ability t rearrange the rder f sub-pages as they appear n the navigatin bar. T mve pages, simply use the arrw keys crrespnding t a title under the Actins clumn. Click n Clse t save yur changes.

6 Archiving Pages In rder t archive a sub-page, select the checkbx next t the page title name and click Archive. T retrieve archived pages, hver yur muse ver Page Prperties and click n Archived Sub-pages. Here select the checkbx crrespnding t the page yu wish t retrieve and click n Un-Archive. T delete a page hver yur muse ver Page Prperties, scrll dwn and click n Archived Subpages. Here click n buttn next t the sub-page yu wish t delete. Remember: Pages must be archived befre they can be deleted frm the site Organizing Pages Once yu have created yur sub-pages, yu can easily arrange the rder that yu wuld like them t appear n yur left navigatin panel. Hver yur muse ver Page Prperties and click n Manage Sub-Pages, next click Page Order Drag the pages int the preferred rder, and click Update Page Order. Versin Histry If yu wuld like t revert t an lder versin f yur webpage, use this tl. Sharpschl autmatically saves recent updates/changes that yu ve made as versins. Hver yur muse ver Page Prperties and click n Versin Histry, click n the versin t revert t, and click Make Live. Release Schedule Use this tl t release a sub-page fr a specifically designated amunt f time. Culd be a handy tl fr assignments. Hver yur muse ver Page Prperties and click n Release Schedule, set the apprpriate release times fr the specific sub-page, and click Save. Pht Galleries Allws yu t create multiple albums with dynamic features such as the ability t view pictures as slideshws and allw fr mderated cmmenting Adding Albums Click n the Pht Gallery link frm n the left navigatin bar f yur page. This will lead yu t a blank gallery page. Click Add Album.

7 Selecting this ptin means that the system will pick any image frm yur album as the Cver Picture Allws yu t chse the image yu d like as the Cver Picture Adding Phts t an Album An empty album will shw the message, N Images in This Album. T add images, click n Add Image This will lead t page that will allw yu t uplad images frm yur server r cmputer. T uplad an image click n Brwse, select the image yu desire, click OPEN, and click Uplad Image(s) t publish them int yur nline album. Wrking with Phts Once yu are viewing the Pht Album, yu have the ability t change the name f images, alter their prperties such as thumbnail sizes, and delete images.
