1 November is National Aviation Month. Pretend that you could fly. Where would you want to go and why? The weather is starting to get colder. What are some things that you love to do in the cold weather? As the leaves change on the trees, we see many beautiful colors. How many colors do you know? List all of the different colors that you know.
2 November is Child Safety Month. What are some ways that you can stay safe in your neighborhood? Sometimes it gets too cold to go outside. What are some ways that you can stay healthy inside your house? In the United States, November is the month of elections. Why do you think it is important to vote in the elections?
3 November is Good Nutrition Month! Make a list of as many foods as you can think of that are healthy and nutritious. Imagine that your school voted you to be the principal. What would you do and what changes would you make? Pretend that you just won 3 free tickets to a music concert of your choice. What concert would you go to and who would you take? Write about some things that you would do.
4 Do you think a turkey would make a good pet? Write about a kid who had a turkey as a pet. Complete at least five sentences with the words, I am thankful for. What are some ways to stay warm in the fall and winter months?

Imagine that your neighbors invite your family over for dinner and you need to stay home to watch the dogs. Write about what might happen.
