1 BLUE ASH YMCA SWIM TEAM TEDDY BEAR SPLASH for 12 and Under Invitational for 13 and Over s We have made a few changes to the Teddy Bear Splash 1) New order of events for s are now swimming Saturday and Sunday mornings 2) Now all swimmers can swim up to 4 Individual events per day, all age groups 3) High Point Awards for 7-8, 9-10 and will be based on 4 events per day limit. 4) 8 &Under will swim their Distance events on Saturday afternoon, leaving the 9-10 alone on Sunday afternoon. This will create a short Sunday afternoon, Superbowl Sunday!

2 BLUE ASH YMCA SWIM TEAM TEDDY BEAR SPLASH for 12 and Under Invitational for 13 and Over s PLACE Blue Ash YMCA, 5000 YMCA Drive, Cincinnati, OH DATE January 30-31, February 1, TIME Friday - 5:30 PM Warm-up, Meet 6:20 PM for 8 & Under Saturday - 7:00 AM Warm-up, Meet 8:10 AM for 11& Over Saturday - 12:30 PM Warm-up, Meet 1:35 PM for 9-10 & 8 & under Sunday - 7:00 AM Warm-up for 11 & Over 8:10 AM meet for 11 & over Sunday 12:30 PM Warm-up, Meet 1:35 PM for 9-10 year olds ONLY Specific team warm-ups and lane assignments will be sent to the teams coaches. POOL AGE GROUPS RULES EVENTS EVENT AWARDS All competition will take place in the Blue Ash YMCA s Main Pool at the Blue Ash YMCA 6 & Under, 8 & Under, 7 8, 9-10, 11-12, 13 & Over 2015 USA Swimming Technical Rules will be used. Age for the meet is determined by the swimmers age as of December 1, This meet is open to YMCA Teams only. Swimmers may enter only Four (4) individual events plus one relay per day. All Events are timed finals For 12 and Under swimmers - Custom TEDDY BEAR medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in individual events, and to 1st place for relays. Ribbons will be awarded to the 4th through 12th place finishers in the individual events, and 2nd through 6th in relays. For 13 and Over swimmers medals will be awarded for 1-3 place, with Ribbons for 4-12 place. 8 & Under on Saturday PM will receive TEDDY BEAR medals, but events will NOT count towards High Point Awards. PARTICIPATION AWARD All 8 and under swimmers on Friday evening will receive a small stuffed teddy bear. HIGH POINT A custom plaque will be awarded to the HIGH POINT Swimmer in each following age group: Friday night 7-8 Age Group Saturday & Sunday 9-10, No High Point awards for 13 & Over or 6 & Under

3 8 & Under on Saturday PM will NOT count towards High Point Awards Points will be awarded for individual events only on the following scale: 13, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2,1 Relay Events will not count towards High Point Awards. ENTRY FEE Individual Events $4.50 Relay Events $18.00 Deck Entries $7.00 Deck entries will be taken in Open lanes only, no extra heats will be added to the meet. Hy-Tek Software will be used to process this meet. Check payable to the Blue Ash YMCA Swim Team. Please include entry fees with the meet entries. HEAT SHEETS CONCESSIONS FINAL RESULTS MEET DIRECTOR Will be available for $5.00 for the meet, No admission charge A variety of food will be available throughout the meet. Coaches will have a separate Hospitality room, with meals, snacks, and beverages provided free of charge. Final Results will be available on the league s website.
