2 Outer Court - Brazen Altar Leviticus!:"# He is to lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering# and it will be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for him $ % Corinthians *:%!# God made him who had no sin to be sin for us# so that in him we might become the righteousness of God$ Hebrews,:%%# The law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood# and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness$ Revelation ):,# When he opened the fifth seal# I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained$ Outer Court - Brazen Laver Exodus "':&'-&%# He placed the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar and put water in it for washing# and Moses and Aaron and his sons used it to wash their hands and feet$ They washed whenever they entered the Tent of Meeting or approached the altar# as the LORD commanded Moses Ephesians *:%*-%(# Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy# cleansing her by the washing with water through the word# and to present her to himself as a radiant church# without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish# but holy and blameless$

3 Golden Lampstand (Menorah) Leviticus %":!-&# The Lord said to Moses# Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning continually$ Outside the curtain of the Testimony in the Tent of Meeting# Aaron is to tend the lamps before the Lord from evening till morning# continually$ John +:!%# I am the light of the world$ Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness# but will have the light of life$ Revelation!:!&# and among the lampstands was someone "like a son of man# dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest$ Table of Showbread Exodus %*:&'# And you shall set the showbread on the table before Me always$ John ):&*# I am the bread of life$ He who comes to me will never go hungry# and he who believes in me will never be thirsty$ Luke %%:!,# And he took bread# gave thanks and broke it# and gave it to them# saying# "This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me$"

4 Altar of Incense Exodus &':(-+# "Aaron must burn fragrant incense on the altar every morning when he tends the lamps$ He must burn incense again when he lights the lamps at twilight so incense will burn regularly before the LORD for the generations to come$ Psalm!"!:%# May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice$ Luke!+:!# Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up$ Ephesians ):!+# And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests$ With this in mind# be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints$ Revelation *:+# And when he had taken it# the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb$ Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense# which are the prayers of the saints$
