2 Fathers for our Children: Awards Ceremony This year marks the 12 th Annual Fathers for our Children awards ceremony and scholarship fundraiser. This annual event, featured the scholars of s, was created to honor men of outstanding character, who serve as positive male role models "father figures" to the students of the Newark, NJ-based. Honorees are selected based on their commitment to encouraging; enlightening and inspiring our youth to succeed, as well as their overall commitment to Newark youth. This year s honorees are: Preston Pinkett, Chairman & CEO, City National Bank; Rev. John Baker, Pastor of Cross and Crown Church and the Honorable Ras J. Baraka, Mayor of Newark. For the first time, FFOC will also pay homage to an outstanding company Goldman Sachs.
