1 Assignment #1 In my warm color table and light picture my lighting is expressed through the window instead of the overhead light fixture. The lighting is expressed on the floor and the table in the room. The corners of the walls and underneath the window seal are the darkest areas due to the way the light is hitting in the room. For my color scheme, I rendered the ceilings to be a medium brown, the walls to be a golden-yellowish brown, and the floor a dark brown. The way the picture is rendered it is clear the light and dark areas due to the light source.

2 Assignment #2 In this monochromatic picture of stairs and a figure has my lighting expressed through the door up the stairs. The light reflects downwards on the figure onto the ground. The corners of the wall behind the door are in shadow and also are the corners on the stairs. For my color scheme I used different shades of green. The different shades of green help to determine the contrast from the lit and shadowed areas. I used a medium green on the floor, a dark green on the walls, and a light green on the ceilings.

3 Assignment #3 In my warm color scheme picture the lighting is expressed through the window. The light reflects down onto the table below the window and also onto the floor in front the door. The lighting from the window causes shadows under the table and casts a shadow from the table. In the picture the darkest wall is the wall with the window on it, and the corners are darkened. I used a medium brown on the floor, a goldenyellowish brown color on the walls, and I used a light yellow on the ceiling.

4 Assignment #4 In my monochromatic art gallery, the lighting is expressed through the skylight. The light from the window reflects down chair, the table, the carpet, and onto the tile floor. The shadows are below the table and chair, also at the darkest corners of the walls. For my monochromatic color scheme is I used different shades of greys to help distinguish the light and dark areas of the picture. The darkest greys are used in the corners of the floors and walls. The medium grey is used on walls, showing where the light hits. Also, the lightest greys are shown on the ceiling beams around the skylight.

5 Assignment #5 I designed my home entertainment room using a monochromatic color scheme. Monochromatic is using different shades of the same color. I decided to do a family entertainment room because warm, bright color scheme brings the family together. For my floors I did a dark yellow, for my walls I did a medium yellow, and for my ceiling I did a pale yellow. The lighting source is the overhead fixture and the wall lighting on each wall.

6 Assignment #6 In my kitchen picture I did modern style in a warm color scheme. The window is a bay window all around glass, which is light source in the kitchen. The light reflects down onto the island and also onto the floor in front the sink. The lighting from the window causes shadows under the window and under the bench. In the picture the darkest wall is the wall with the window on it, and the corners are darkened. I used a medium brown on the floor, a golden-yellowish brown color on the walls, and I used a light brown on the ceiling.

7 Assignment #7 I designed a warm colored scheme in a posh modern mansion for a party. The mansion has a glass upstairs balcony, downstairs there is a bar for the guest. There is a big entertainment center with plenty of space and couches. They have a full glass wall with doors to go outside in the backyard to the pool. I lighting above can be controlled to any settling you feel for. The floors are a dark brown; the walls are orange, and the ceiling is a light brown.

8 Assignment #7 I designed a cool colored scheme in a hospital. The hospital has a glass upstairs balcony, downstairs there is a welcome/help desk for the guests. There are plenty couches in the seating are. They have a full glass wall with sliding doors to go outside to towards the parking lot. The above lighting is florescent lights. The floors are a light grey; the walls are medium blue, and the ceiling is a light blue. The corners are darkened at the hallway and the far corners away from the glass wall.
