Images that require judging of the computer manipulation should be entered in the Composite Lots. It is important to enter your photograph in the class & lot that you wish it to be judged. An incredible image of a Rose in the floral Lot will insure that it will be judged on flora merits and that it won t score as well as if it were entered in the Landscape lot. Black & White classes are intended for single tone images only. Using Color for emphasis is a striking effect and should be entered in color classes or computer enhanced. Single tone photographs, such as sepia, blue, green, brown, etc., should only be entered as Black & White provided they consist of one tone only. Surprisingly, photography judges are people that know a great deal about what they are asked to judge and they can immediately tell how much you value your images and the amount of time invested in creating your display prints. If you are in doubt, while assembling and mounting your images, use the best materials that you can afford and put your heart into your entry. It may or may not be judged as you think it should be, however, when the fair is over you will have a photograph you will be proud to display for years to come.
