Activities throughout the week will include: Golf, Tennis, Swimming, Games, Fitness Fun, Cooking, Arts and Crafts, and more! Daily drinks, snacks, and lunch are included for each day of camp. Children may bring their own golf clubs, however these can also be provided by Twin Creeks. Each child should bring a backpack with swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. Kids should come ready in play clothes and sneakers! *Aftercare will be available until 5pm at Kid s Corner rates (Tuesday-Friday only). Please call ahead to make reservations. Join your friends, teammates and competitors get in to varsity shape this summer with the Strenght:Power:Speed:Confidence Camp by Forward Motion. This unique program focuses on movement training, linear and lateral speed, foot speed and agility development, power and functional strength training and injury reduction through proper movement and weight training techniques. Learn and train in groups of athletes your own age. Forward Motion trainers closely supervise the intense workout in an encouraging environment where attention is always paid to proper technique and safety. Program Highlights You ll learn the proper technique to move efficiently, develop strength and power and avoid injury. The program starts with the basics. The groups are small so that each athlete can receive individual attention. Once basic techniques are mastered, the group progresses to more advanced exercises. Juniors will be taught the game of golf in a fun and exciting atmosphere. The Twin Creeks Junior Program in partnership with US Kids Golf seeks to teach kids to play golf in a more effective way through game based learning techniques. The camp will also feature SNAG Golf (Starting New At Golf ) Equipment. SNAG contains all the elements of golf but in a modified form. It is a proven learning & training tool for entry level golfers. Drinks and snacks will be provided. Games and skills contests will be held each day to challenge the campers on their new found knowledge and skill sets. 4 JUNIOR TENNIS CAMP Monday Thursday 9:30am to 1:30pm Ages 5 to 8 and 8 to 12 GAME.SET.MATCH TRAINING CAMP Monday Thursday 11:30am-1:30pm Ages 10+ Players will be treated to an all-inclusive training program with daily singles and/or doubles match play, fitness, and agility training. We will teach kids how to prepare, how to play, and how to win! Intermediate/Advanced players only! SWING N' SPLASH TENNIS CAMP Monday Thursday 9:30am-11:30pm Ages 5-10yrs old Our #1 goal is to install a love for being on the tennis court. We will introduce all of the basic fundamentals needed to get them started into a successful tennis game. Forehands, Backhands, Volleys and Serves! The swim portion of our camp is used to reward the kids with a chance to relax and get a little crazy in the pool after a hard days work on the courts. Daily lunch is provided. Golf/Social: $175 per week, $50 per day Community: $195 per week, $55 per day Sponsored Guest: $215 per week, $60 per day (15% off sibling discount) JUNIOR TENNIS CLINICS June 9th August 14th 8:30am to 9:30am Beginners ages 5 10 Mondays and Wednesdays Intermediate/Advanced ages 10 and up Tuesdays and Thursdays This program is designed as a summer extension of our after school program. These kids want to keep learning and growing their tennis skills during the summer but might not have the time for our all day camp. Once or twice a week options are available. 5 LEGO CAMP GYMNASTICS CAMP WITH BROWN S GYMNASTICS Ages 5 to 12 $145 per session Sessions: Monday through Friday Morning 9:00am to 12:00pm Afternoon 1:00pm to 4:00pm *Campers can choose a full day by registering for both morning and afternoon sessions. Lunch will be provided by the Club for an additional for the full day campers for an additional $15 for the week. Dates: June July 7 11 July Ages 5-11 June :00pm to 4:00pm $180 Members $195 Sponsored Guests Sign up for this fun, fast paced, upbeat gymnastics camp for boys and girls ages 5 and up. Beginning and intermediate floor tumbling, balance beam, horizontal bar, mini trampoline and much more! What to Wear: Campers should come with their hair pulled back and wearing comfortable clothes. Please bring a snack and a water bottle. August August LEGO camp is designed for kids who love to create, build and discover using LEGO. Campers will have plenty of opportunities for LEGO free play, group builds, LEGO based games, LEGO animation and more. SCIENCE CAMP 10:00am to 2:00pm June Science and Photography Campers will observe, explore and photograph Live Insects, Amphibians, Reptiles and Plants. Bring your own camera, itouch or ipad to capture your photos. July Mixology Campers will shake, stir and mix different ingredients to make ooeey goeey solutions. The science of chemistry in our hands. Be prepared to get dirty and play in slime! TUMBLE CHEER CAMP WITH BROWN S GYMNASTICS Ages 5-11 July :00pm to 4:00pm $180 Members $195 Sponsored Guests Sign up for this fun, fast paced, upbeat tumble cheer camp for girls ages 5 to 11. We will work on stunts, jumps, cheers, and chants as well as round-off back-hand springs, front hand springs, and back tucks. What to Wear: Girls should wear shorts and a t-shirt or tank top, socks, and tennis shoes. Please bring a snack and water bottle. August 5 7 Ocean Adventures Dive in to some marine mania! We ll be exploring everything from creatures of the deep to bizarre beach bandits. Members: $125 Sponsored Guests: $175 Campers will need to bring a snack, sack lunch and a water bottle. 5

6 ABRAKADOODLE ART CAMP HIP HOP CAMP June July August :30am to 2:00pm Members: $172 per camp Sponsored Guests: $187 per camp YUMMY ART Members: $125 Sponsored Guests: $175 For Hip Hop Camps, please come prepared with hair pulled back and dressed in comfortable shorts and shirts with tennis shoes (no denim material please). Each Thursday of camp, the kids will do a presentation of the routine they learned at 1:40pm and the parents are welcome to join us to watch. Monday through Thursday June 23 June 26 9:00am to 12:00pm Grades (Based on Grade Level): K-5th Minimum Enrollment: 5 campers Maximum Enrollment: 20 campers Course Description: Yummy Art Camp will include lessons for foodie fun art! Get your spoon or paintbrush and create Art! It s all about the wonderful and wacky world of food art. (No peanuts or peanut oils will be used) 3-D ART COOKING CAMP Tuesday - Friday Ages :30am to 11:30am Members: $50 per child per week Sponsored Guests: $65 per child per week Dates: July August Highlights: How about cooking up some fun this summer with Chef Kevin? Each day the kids will enjoy a new cooking project with hands on instruction. They will prep the food, create the featured item(s), enjoy their creations and get to take home the recipes! Monday through Thursday July :00am to 12:00pm Grades (Based on Grade Level): K-5th Minimum Enrollment: 5 campers Maximum Enrollment: 20 campers Course Description: I see, you see, we all see 3-D! Get in to the third dimension this summer. With wads of paper to sculpt and weave we learn the fine art of paper sculpting. Grab some model magic and create, create, create! All things 3-D are covered as we learn about dioramas, transform a box into a fun and funky robot and more on this creative journey with Abrakadoodle! ADVENTURE AROUND THE WORLD Monday through Thursday August 4 August 7 9:00am to 12:00pm Grades (Based on Grade Level): K-5th Minimum Enrollment: 5 campers Maximum Enrollment: 20 campers Course Description: Grab your map and come aboard Abrakadoodle travel machine to explore the art world with us! We will visit the jungles of Ecuador creating Exotic Birds, learn about Sun Faces from Mexico, hop over to Japan to fashion beautiful fans and paint a colorful rainbow that reflects the many colors of our world. 6

7 TWIN CREEKS TEXAS TWISTERS SWIM TEAM Practice Schedule Weekdays from April 28 June 6 (School in Session) Ages 4 to 18 Registration Fees Members (Golf, Social and Community) $175 for first swimmer, $165 for each additional swimmer Sponsored Guests $185 for the first swimmer, $175 for each additional TOROs (year round swimmers) $100 each swimmer no sibling discount and must be currently in ACTIVE status *Registration includes 8 weeks of swim instruction, all meets, team cap, team t-shirt and a team photo. If paying by check, please bring it with you to the Meet and Greet April 13th. OPEN Registration On-Line Registration link: twisters.swimtopia.com TWISTERS is a summer swim team for those swimmers ages 4 to 18 who can swim at least 25 meters (1 length) of freestyle and backstroke. The program is designed to improve swimming skills while having fun in a supportive family environment. Practice times vary from 45 minutes to one hour and swimmers are grouped in practice by age and ability. The team swims in weekly meets against other local teams in the Austin Aquatic League. At least one Parent is required to Volunteer at each meet your swimmer attends. 8 SWIM LESSONS Private and semi-private lessons are currently available to swimmers of all ages. You can register for single lessons or a package of four. To schedule your 30-minute swimming lessons, simply go to the swim lesson page of the Twin Creeks Country Club website. (Activity Center/Aquatics/Swim Center) Private - $35 per lesson or a package of four (4) for $125 Semi-private - $50 per lesson or a package of four (4) for $160 For the 4-pack, you must schedule your lessons within a two week time period. Group Swim Lessons: Ages 3 and up Session One: June 13 23, Tuesday Friday (eight 30-minute lessons) Session Two: July 10 July 20, Tuesday Friday (eight 30-minute lessons) Session Three: August 8 18, Tuesday Friday (eight 30-minute lessons) Members: $90 per session Level 1: Newts 10:30am to 11:00am Begin basic water exploration and blowing bubbles. Goal is for child to become comfortable in the water. Level 2: Salamanders 11:15am to 11:45am Learn fundamental basics of swimming with assisted floating and forward movement. Swimmer must be able to comfortably put face in water. Level 3: Tadpoles 12:00pm to 12:30pm Focus of class is to develop skills to swim the length of the pool. Refinement of freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke techniques will be addressed. Level 4: Frogs 12:45pm to 1:15pm Must be able to swim pool length using freestyle and breaststroke. Coordinate skills for all 4 competitive strokes.
