1 Choose Group In the left-hand navigation window, choose Algebra Groups or Geometry Groups. Manage Groups Click the Manage Group link on the left for the correct group. Tasks to Print Click the "Tasks to Print" button. Printing Math Tasks (Internet Explorer) Page 1

2 Choose Tasks to Print The window that appears will have the tasks that can be printed sorted two different ways: by task and by student. This is for the teacher's convenience. You will print the same tasks from either column. Printing Math Tasks (Internet Explorer) Page 2

3 Tasks with Students Assigned If you prefer to have all students working on the same task at the same time, you may wish to use the "Tasks with Students Assigned" column. Clicking on the check box for a task will select all of the students who have been assigned that task. To select individual students click on the plus sign in front of the task and check or uncheck any of the students. Once you have selected the tasks you want to print click the "Add Student Info to Task Form" button. A new button will appear that says "processing" and when it completes processing it will say "Download zipped PDF Tasks". (see below) You can choose as many tasks as you want at one time. 4 Students and their tasks The right hand column groups tasks by the students. If you wish to print all of the tasks for an individual student click the checkbox in front of the student's name. Clicking on the plus sign will expand the group so you can deselect or select individual tasks. Once you have selected the tasks you want to print click the "Add Student Info to Task Form" button. 5 Processing files Once you have selected all of the forms you want to print and click the "Add Student Info to Task Form" you will see a new button appear to the right that will say "Processing Files..." and it will count down the number of files left to process. 6 Download Zipped PDF Tasks Once the processing completes, the button will say "Download zipped PDF Tasks". Click that button to download a file in.zip format. You will need to unzip the file on your computer in order to print the files for your students. Printing Math Tasks (Internet Explorer) Page 6

7 Retrieving zipped files on Chrome When you download the zipped file on Chrome, it goes into the Downloads folder. To access it easily click on the wrench icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page then pull down to Downloads. Printing Math Tasks (Internet Explorer) Page 7

8 Downloads (Chrome) The downloads window will open and will give you options. The zipped file is saved as MyTaskPDFs.zip. If you have downloaded more than one zip file you will see a number in the title such as MyTaskPdfs (1).zip. Click on "Show in Finder" (Macintosh) or "Show in Folder" (Windows) to see the zip file, then double-click the file to decompress the folder. Downloads (Safari) On Safari click the down arrow in the upper right-hand corner of the page. This will show you files that have been downloaded recently. The zipped file will automatically be unzipped. You can doubleclick it in this window to open it, or look in the Downloads folder on your Macintosh. Printing Math Tasks (Internet Explorer) Page 8

9 Open folder Open the new folder to see the files that were downloaded. Inside the folder When you open the folder you will see pdf files for all of the tasks you have selected. Open each PDF to print it for the students. Printing Math Tasks (Internet Explorer) Page 9

10 Personalization The printed tasks will look similar to the example below. The tasks are individualized for each student and it is crucial that the students only work on the tasks that have been their names on them. The barcodes that are imprinted on the tasks tell the scoring center who the task was assigned to. DO NOT cross off the name of a student and write in another name.
