1 ICOSSE International Congress on 4 th International Congress on Balatonfüred, Hungary May 26-29, 2015 The Conference The 4 th International Congress on Sustainability Science and Engineering (ICOSSE) will be held in Balatonfüred, Hungary from May 26-29, The purpose of the Congress is to exchange emerging ideas about ways and means of protecting the environment and its resources so that humans can achieve sustainable development and societal benefits through generations. The Congress will provide a common platform for researchers and practitioners of various physical and ecological sciences, engineering fields, economics, and social sciences. Why Sponsor or Exhibit? ICOSSE 15 is organized on these key themes in sustainability: Sustainable Water Management Sustainable Manufacturing Energy Sustainability Sustainability Issues in the Food-Energy-Water Nexus Sustainability Education and Societal Issues ICOSSE 2015 will be the fourth annual. The success of conferences such as ICOSSE comes as a result of several factors: a strong organizing committee, knowledgeable speakers, and support of sponsoring and exhibiting organizations. Sponsor support allows conference organizers to keep registration rates at a level accessible to most industry practitioners while also allowing organizers to create an event that participants will want to return to year after year. 4 Payment Policy Full payment should accompany all sponsor and exhibitor registrations. Special payment arrangements must be approved in advance by AIChE and written confirmation must be attached to the reservation form. All payments must be received in full 30 days before the meeting start date. Payment covers only those items listed in the package section of this document. Exhibit location assignments are assigned approximately 4 6 weeks prior to the meeting start date. Registrations not paid in full 30 days prior to meeting start date will not be assigned an exhibit location until full payment is received. Exhibitor Registrations made 29 days or less to the meeting start date must be paid in full, no alternative payment arrangements will be made. Payments should be made directly to AIChE by wire transfer, check, cash, or credit card (see registration form for payment information details). Cancellation Policy Cancellation by Sponsor There are no refunds or credits for sponsorship cancellations once signed registration has been received. Cancellation by Exhibitor All reservations cancelled by 5PM EST on the date 30 days prior to conference start will receive a 75% refund. (A 25% processing fee is charged on all cancellations received more than 30 days before the Conference). Cancellations received fewer than 30 days before the conference start date are not eligible for refund. Cancellation or Postponement of Event by AIChE AIChE may decide to cancel or postpone the event, in its sole discretion. If AIChE postpones said event, sponsorship funds will be carried forward to the rescheduled event. If AIChE cancels said event, AIChE will consider a refund on a case-by-case basis depending on a number of factors including the sponsor-related expenses already incurred by AIChE and the already accrued visibility of the sponsorship.
