Our preparation course uses the Beloved series. 125Years!!! Knights of Columbus Steak Fry On January 15, 2017, OLPH will be celebrating 125 years since the first Mass was celebrated. To mark this occasion we will be having a special Mass at 8:30am on the 15th of January, followed by a reception from 9:30am - 11:30am in Hensen Hall. There is no cost involved; simply stop by during regular office hours to select a shawl from the many MENTAL HEALTH MINISTRY IC/OLPH Mental Health Ministry invites all parishioners to fellowship and education on how to help a loved one dealing with mental illness. We meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7pm in St. Mary s Hall. Questions? As a start to this, we are making parishioners aware of the opportunity to attend with parishioners from St. Mary Magdalen Parish. As the parish community Care Team, it is our goal to help support all of you however we can. If you, or you know of asomeone who is experiencing a difficult time, such as loneliness, surgery, illness, loss of a loved one, loss of a job, or other life changes, please give us a call at We have a special number and messages will be forwarded to us. You can also fill out and deposit a help request form located in the back of the church as we check our box regularly. We would also like to acknowledge and share in all of your joys, such as births, baptisms, marriages, milestone birthdays and anniversaries. We send cards, make phone calls, make visits, bring meals, and offer prayers. We would love to support you, just give us a call. Together we can be a blessing to one another. If you are interested in joining our team, we meet on the 4th Monday of the month, at 7:00 pm, in St. Mary s Hall. SVdP at IC IC SVdP is reflecting on a busy Christmas Giving Season. Thanks to the help, once again, from our Boy Scouts, over 100 gifts were delivered to 35 families with 71 children. We also gave out 31 Christmas Food Baskets. Several of the gifts/food baskets were unable to be delivered Dec. 18, so the following 6 families came to retrieve them or we were able to deliver them. On Christmas Eve, 14 volunteers came in to serve at the food bank since this was our regular bi-monthly Saturday to be open. Even with the food baskets, we had 60 adults and 22 children needing food to help them get through to the new year. Thanks once again for your support of this invaluable ministry!
