2 Mountains4U the innovative tablet magazine for mountain sports and outdoor sports Mountains4U makes the first ascent in the area of mountain sports and outdoor sports journalism: Developed especially for tablets (ios and Android), Mountains4U combines all of the possibilities multimedia reporting has to offer: Mountains4U is new, innovative, interactive which means it s unique in its field. It s the first magazine that isn t a take down of a print product it s a take up of mountain sports journalism, taking it to a new medium and using every possibility and enhancement the new medium provides.
3 Mountains4U technology that goes with nature! Modern technologies and mountain sports do not rule each other out just the opposite! Because mountain sports are as highly technologized as fans of outdoor sports are close to nature. And continuous developments in equipment, material, and innovations more or less go hand-in-hand with continuous developments in journalism the shift away from mono media to multimedia. Mountains4U is taking part with this step in a consequent manner and as a paperless medium it s also environmentally friendly! For this reason, the savings in production costs flow directly to the European Outdoor Conservation Association (3% of each magazine sold) to help preserve mountain regions.

7 TS Mediaworks are the makers of Mountains4U Publisher and editor in chief: Petra Thaller Grew up surrounded by outdoor journalism (she s the daughter of Inge Scherübel). Presenter and editor of the TV magazine Zauber der Berge ( The Magic of Mountains ) for the German broadcaster Sat1, and also presenter and editor of numerous TV programs for RTL, DSF, Premiere, etc. Starting in 2006, editor in chief of Trekkers World Magazin, which was renamed AllMountain ; she was editor in chief of this magazine about mountains until Founder of Thaller & Sappel Mediaworks; she launched Mountains4U in September Art director: Isabell Sappel Many years of experience in the graphics field as well as in print and online magazines and advertisement. From 1996 to 2003, responsible for the graphic pool of the publishing house top-special ( fotomagazin, among others) and art director of Trekkers World Magazin. Starting in 2004, deputy art director of Gruner & Jahr; in 2006 she transferred to the publishing house Journal International Verlag. She has been freelance since 2011 and has worked for, among others, the publishing house IPM-Verlag. Petra Thaller and Isabell Sappel are co-directors of the online headquarters of Thaller & Sappel Mediaworks, which includes a professional editorial and PR and marketing team.

9 Mountains4U Facts Mountains4U is published on the 15th of each month in the itunes App Store and Google Play Store for all tablets with the ios and Android operating systems. Price of a single edition: 3.59 euros. Half-year and one-year subscriptions with perks corresponding to the payment systems of the app stores. The magazine app is supplemented by a presence on all of the social media platforms and includes a direct exchange with the target group.
10 Mountains4U the next peak An app for smartphones will be added to the product range of Mountains4U at the end of the year. This app will not contain the contents of the tablet magazine it will contain the Website (Responsive Web Design) with three important widget enhancements: Mountain guide, weather, and trip platform widgets In addition, in 2014 TS Mediaworks is planning to expand its product portfolio to include other tablet magazines.
