1 The South Point Local Board of Education held its regular meeting on April 11, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. The following members present: Mrs. Adams, Dr. Copley, Ms. Keatley, Mr. Nuckols, and Mrs. Thacker. Dr. Copley led prayer and the Board led the Pledge of Allegiance MINUTES APPROVED Dr. Copley moved second by Mr. Nuckols to approve the minutes of the March 2016 regular board meeting APPROVAL OF BILLS Mrs. Thacker moved second by Mrs. Adams to review and approve payment of March 2016 bills paid FINANCIAL REPORT APPROVED Mr. Nuckols moved second by Mrs. Adams to approve the financial report, including the bank reconciliation, the SM-2 report, the financial summary report, the FUNDSUMM report and a list of all checks paid for the month of March, 2016 as presented by the Treasurer UPDATED 5-YEAR FORECAST APPROVED Mrs. Adams moved second by Mrs. Thacker to approve the updated 5- Year Forecast for fiscal years 2016 through 2020 as presented by the Treasurer DISTRICT BIDS Mrs. Thacker moved second by Dr. Copley to approve advertising for bids for milk, bread, and fuel for the school year.

TO FOODSERVICE Dr. Copley moved second by Mrs. Thacker to approve a transfer from General Fund to Foodservice in the amount of $5,576 to compensate for March revenues lost due to the implementation of the Community Eligibility Provision. yea; EBAY/PAY PAL ACCOUNTS Dr. Copley moved second by Mrs. Adams to approve the establishment of district Ebay and Pay Pal accounts to sell district property that qualifies to be sold at a private sale according to the Ohio Revised Code. yea; HEALTH INSURANCE PROVIDER AND RATES APPROVED Mrs. Adams moved second by Dr. Copley to approve employee health insurance with the Southern Ohio Health Insurance Consortium with Anthem BC/BS as carrier for the school year. Back 8:10 pm CERTIFIED SUBS HIRED Mrs. Thacker moved second by Mrs. Adams to hire the following certified substitute employees as recommended by the Superintendent. 1. Tami Henson WORKERS COMPENSATION GROUP RATING COMPMANAGEMENT Mrs. Thacker moved second by Mrs. Adams to approve participation in the workers compensation group rating program endorsed by OSBA and OASBO and provided by CompManagement Inc. for the 2017 rating year as presented and recommended by the Treasurer WAIVER DAY RESCHEDULED Mrs. Thacker moved second by Dr. Copley to schedule a waiver day for teachers on Monday, May 2 nd, as recommended by the Superintendent ADJOURN Dr. Copley moved second by Mrs. Thacker to adjourn the meeting.
