1 Fire Alarm Systems FPD-7024 Family Fire alarm control panels FPD-7024 Family Fire alarm control panels For initiating zones (expandable to eight) with p to 20 two wire smoke detectors per zone Programmable throgh keypads or remote programming software (RPS) throgh a Conettix interface modle or over the pblic switched telephone network (PSTN) Two notification appliance circits (NACs) on board with a shared internal reglated 24 VFWR, 4 A NAC power spply Easily converts to addressable with the addition of a MUX expansion modle Reports to two phone nmbers, two IP addresses, or a phone nmber and an IP address The FPD 7024 Family FACPs can be sed in commercial, retail, and pblic bilding applications. They are listed by UL for central station, local, axiliary, and remote station systems. The FACPs spport for on board initiating zones that can be expanded to eight sing the FPC 7034 For point expander. Each initiating zone spports two wire and for wire detectors configrable as Class A or Class B loops. Each zone can spport p to 20 two wire detectors, or any nmber of for wire detectors depending on available power. Each FACP has a bilt in digital fire alarm commnicator transmitter (DACT). Enhance the FPD 7024 conventional system featres by adding an FPE-7039 or D7039 MUX expansion modle. Adding a MUX expansion modle to the FACP trns the conventional FACP into an addressable FACP. The MUX expansion modle adds p to 247 addressable points to the base system. It also adds an additional 400 events to the history bffer for a total of 499 events. The modle increases the nmber of programmable relay otpts from 19 to 59 and expands system sers to 100. The FPE-7039 allows yo to se FPE-7024-ISO MUX bs isolator modles. The isolator modles prevent failre of the entire bs when there is a short on the bs. Fnctions Notification Appliance Circits Two Class A or Class B NACs provide reglated power to operate notification appliances. Each NAC can be programmed to provide synchronized otpt for Wheelock, Gentex, or System Sensor notification appliances. The available otpts are: Temporal Code 3 California March Steady Plsed User Interface A viewing port shows the stats light emitting diodes (LEDs) and liqid crystal display (LCD) while maintaining system keypad secrity. For mlti langage applications, the stats LEDs and keypad bttons are labeled with symbols. The display

Unlocking the enclosre door provides access to the system controls for: Silencing off normal conditions Bypassing zones Resetting detectors Testing Programming Other fire fnctions Two additional keypads (FMR 7033 LCD keypad and FMR-7036 Fire annnciator keypad) mimic the panel s bilt in keypad. Wherever the FMR 7033 is connected to the system, it makes all the fnctions of the bilt in keypad available. The FMR-7036 provides the stats LEDs and display (in any of the three available langages). The key locked bttons provide access only to reset, scroll, and silence fnctions. Organized Event Display The software sorts alarm, troble, and spervisory events into categories and allows scrolling throgh specific events. History Bffer The system stores events in a 99 event history bffer. A MUX expansion modle increases the nmber of events that can be stored in the history bffer to 499. Central Station Reporting The FPD-7024 FACPs ses accont nmbers p to 10 digits to send reports. It can send reports with fll single, doble, and backp reporting. It can send reports to two telephone nmbers, one telephone nmber and one IP address, or two IP addresses. IP se reqires a Conettix interface modle at the panel and an appropriate Conettix receiver at the central station. The panel spports commnication in BFSK, SIA, Contact ID, Modem IIIa 2, and 4/2 or 3/1 Tone Brst formats. Dirty Detector Monitoring All on board zones and FPC 7034 zones are continosly monitored for smoke detectors signaling a dirty condition. The Chamber Check featre signals a dirty smoke chamber sing the LED on the detector head. If the calibration is ot of range, the detector s LED flashes once every 4 seconds. This indicates that the detector mst be cleaned following the instrctions provided with the detector. Also, the control panel annnciates that there is a dirty detector on the loop or the address. For detectors on a two-wire loop, it the detector s smoke chamber is dirty, the detector sends a CleanMe signal. For detectors on an addressable loop, the detector sends a dirty detector signal. Accessories The FPD 7024 enclosre (P/N: F01U068852) has a viewport for keypad messages while the enclosre door is locked. It also has space for additional accessory modles and two 18 Ah batteries. The BATB 40 or BATB-80 Battery box/enclosres accommodate larger batteries or additional batteries.! The panel can handle batteries p to 40 Ah. When selecting batteries, ensre that the batteries can handle an initial charge crrent of at least 1.7 A. 4 4 FPD-7024 Family Fire alarm control panels Relays Local (onboard) Remote 1 The main control panel incldes Three Form C relays. The relay contacts are rated at 5 A, 28 VDC. No over crrent limiting is performed on the contacts of the relays. The defalt selection for the relays is to indicate general alarm (relay 1), general system troble (relay 2), and spervisory (relay 3). By sing point or zone mapping, they can be programmed to activate in a wide variety of conditions. Eight Form C relay otpts are provided by a D7035 Remote Relay Modle. The modle connects to the FACP throgh the option bs. The otpts are flly programmable, exactly as the local relays are programmed. Each otpt operates independently of the other seven to provide complete flexibility. Commnication with the D7035 is spervised.
