1 The Single q. RESOURCES 6.7 Packing Quantity, Size and weight of carton box The Size of each cartons box will depend on how many quantities of finished goods be packed. The quantity might be advised TSQ or Customer. If there is no any requirement about the packing quantity per carton box from TSQ or customer, Vendor must advise the packing quantity per carton box, gross weight and size of carton box to TSQ and then get approval from TSQ. The standards guidelines of packing are as follows: ` Hand bags stuffed 4 to 8 pcs per carton Sport bags non stuffed 20 to 30 pcs per carton Small accessories 50 to 100 pcs per carton Sport caps 50 to 100 pcs per carton Fleece 16 to 20 pcs per carton T shirts and polo 40 pcs per carton Heavy and Down Jackets 10 to 16 pcs per carton Wind breakers and light jackets 16 to 20 pcs per carton Pants 16 to 20 pcs per carton Important note: Based on EU norm on safety the max gross carton weight allowed is 15 kg per carton. Base on this rule, the factory MUST check that our general guidelines on number of pieces per carton DO NOT result in more than 15 KG per carton. If this happens the factory must suggest the correct number of pieces per carton not to exceed 15 kg of gross weight. If in doubt, vendors should not order the carton box by themselves before they get confirmation from TSQ.

2 25 cm 6.8 Shipping logo and marks There can be two cases for carton box shipping logo and marks: i. Customers have their special request by using their own logo and shipping mark (main and size): Vendor can follow the customer s information to make the carton box. Those information will be given on TSQ s P/O. ii. Customers don t have any special requirement: Vendor can follow TSQ standard carton marking below TSQ standard Outer Carton Box: Main mark: 25 Long side of the carton: Print in Orange color the Mark as per drawing above

5 6.8.2 Inner Carton box: 1 It might need to have inner carton box to put inside of outer carton box. It is important to protect the finished goods without subject too much pressure from the deformation of shape. The request of inner carton box will be advised when salesman sample or bulk order be place. Once customer or TSQ confirm to have inner box, vendor must follow to order the inner carton box. Place cardboard sheet in between the columns of big polybags / inner box. The number of big polybag will based on the net weight and number of pcs required to achieve a gross weight shipment One garment has to be in a single standard polybag. Several single polybags must be grouped in a big polybag. The number of pcs per big polybag should be 6 single polybags. The number of big polybags / inner box in a carton is determined by the total pcs needed to achieve a gross weight shipment.

6 6.9 Shipment weight All our orders SENT BY AIR should result in a gross weight freight. This means that it is important that the factory evaluates the correct packing method (size of box and number of pcs per box) to optimize the cost. To do this the factory must calculate the volume weight of the shipment and compare it to the gross weight and advise TSQ the packing method and details for approval BEFORE ordering the shipping cartons. In order to meet the requirements, The gross weight of a shipment must be greater than the volume weight. This must be done considering anyway that the garments should not be hard pressed in the box. How to calculate the gross weight: Gross weight = total net weight of the goods inside one box + weight of the carton itself. This must be calculated for each box unless the pieces inside are equal for all boxes. The total gross weight of the shipment is given by adding all single carton gross weight How to calculate the volume weight: Volume weight = Volume of the box (carton sizes in meters) Based on the above factory should be able to know the minimum quantity of goods to fill in each box in order to have the gross weight higher than the volume weight EXAMPLE Carton box sizes: A 0.64mt (h) x 0.36mt (w) x 0.47mt (L) = m 3 = total cubic meters B m3 / = kg Gross weight in this example should be more than kg. However, always consider that the garments must be packed safely and not get damaged by trying to achieve this goal.
