Insert 6 cam screws and 4 wood dowels in the desk side. Secure, but do not over tighten cam screws with a phillips head screwdriver.. Insert 3 cam screws in the desk short side and secure with a screwdriver. C. Insert 7 cam screws in the desk top and secure with a screwdriver. C Desk Side 2. Insert 2 wood dowels and 4 cams into the desk back. Make sure the arrow on each cam points towards the nearest edge.. Insert 6 cams into the desk bottom. C. Insert 3 cams and 2 wood dowels into the desk side. D. Insert 3 cams and 4 wood dowels into the desk short side. Note: This is the front of the assembly. Make sure pre-installed drawer pulls out in this direction. 3. Fit desk short side onto desk bottom as shown, aligning cam screws with corresponding holes.. Secure s by turning each cam clockwise with a phillips head screwdriver until each cam securely engages each cam screw. 4 Fit assembly onto cam screws of desk side as shown. Secure s by turning each cam clockwise with a phillips head screwdriver until each cam securely engages each cam screw. Made in China - r12 Page 2 of 3

3 PUZZLE DESK - DESK COMPONENT 5. Fit cam screws of desk side into corresponding holes in desk back. Secure all 3 cams with a screwdriver.. Fasten top of desk back to bottom shelf with 1 large screw. Fully tighten with the large allen wrench. 6. Fit cam screws of desk top into corresponding holes in side s. Secure all 6 cams with a screwdriver. C. Conceal all exposed cams with cam covers. CLENING ND CRE Clean surfaces with a dry or damp soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Do not use furniture wax or polish as the wood is finished with a protective clear lacquer. 7 With the assistance of another adult, place desk component onto file component as shown. ssembly is now complete. 5 FILE COMPONENT SSEMLY C D E F The Puzzle Desk consists of 2 separate components, the File and the Desk. The following instructions are for assembly of the File Component. 1. Insert 3 cam screws, 3 cams and 2 wood dowels into file right side as shown.. Insert 9 cam screws, 3 cams and 2 wood dowels into file left side. C. Insert 4 cam screws, 6 cams and 4 wood dowels into file top. D. Insert 10 cam screws into the file bottom. E. Insert 6 cams,4 wood dowels and 3 cam screws into the file interior. F. Insert 6 cams and 4 wood dowels into the file shelf. 2 Fit file shelf onto cam screws of the file interior. Secure each cam by turning clockwise with a phillips head screwdriver until each cam securely engages each cam screw. 3 With the assistance of another adult, fit file top onto the assembly, aligning cam screws and corresponding holes in desk interior. Secure all cams with a screwdriver. Page 2 of 6

6 4. Insert 6 wood dowels and 5 cams into the file back as shown. Make sure arrows on each cam point towards nearest edge with holes.. Turn file back over and fit into corresponding holes in file top as shown. Secure cam by turning clockwise with a phillips head screwdriver. 5 Fit cam screws of file left side into corresponding holes in the assembly. Lock all 9 cams by turning clockwise with a phillips head screwdriver. Unfinished edges face up 6 Fit cam screws of file right side into corresponding holes on the assembled unit. Secure 3 cams with a phillips head screwdriver. 7. Insert 2 cams into the foot stretcher and 1 cam screw into each foot. Make sure unfinished edges of each faces up as shown. Fit cam screws of foot s into ends of foot stretcher and secure each cam with a phillips head screwdriver.. Insert 4 cam screws into underside of file bottom as shown. Insert 4 cams and 4 wood dowels into the foot s. Fit cam screws of bottom into holes on foot s and secure each cam with a screwdriver. Page 3 of 6

7 prox 3/4 8 Fit file bottom onto the underside of the assembly as shown, aligning the dowels and cam screws with corresponding holes. Secure 10 cams with a phillips head screwdriver. 9 ttach 1 drawer glide to the file left side and 1 drawer glide to the file interior with 2 small wood screws per glide. Make sure the final installed position of the glide is approximately 3/4 from the front edge of each as illustrated. 10. ttach right and left small drawer sides to small drawer back with 4 bolts as shown. Secure, but do not over tighten with the small allen wrench.. Slide small drawer bottom into slot at bottom of back and side s. 11. Fit small inner drawer front onto assembly as shown. ttach with 4 bolts from the sides and secure with the small allen wrench.. lign holes small drawer front with holes on assembly. Insert 2 machine screws through drawer fronts and into 1 drawer pull. Secure with a phillips head screwdriver. Page 4 of 6

8 12. ttach right and left large drawer sides to large drawer back with 4 bolts as shown.. Slide large drawer bottom into slot at bottom of back and side s. 13. Fit large inner drawer front onto assembly as shown. ttach with 4 bolts and secure with the small allen wrench.. lign holes large drawer front with holes on assembly. Insert 2 machine screws through drawer fronts and into 1 drawer pull. Secure with a phillips head screwdriver. Finalize drawer front attachment with 2 large wood screws from underside of drawer box front. Install rail here for Standard Hanging Files Install rail here for Legal Hanging Files 14. Insert small drawer assembly into the case as shown, fitting wheels of drawer glides into rails of case glides.. Fully extend ball bearing glides for large drawer. lign glides on drawer sides with glides installed in case. pplying firm, even pressure, push large drawer into assembly until it fits flush with the front of the case. 15. Determine if you want to use standard or legal size hanging files. Fit 2 file support rails in the appropriate slots as illustrated above.. Conceal all exposed cams with cam covers. Page 5 of 6
