Introduction To Spiritual Warfare The basic theme of this message is to teach what Jesus taught, that which took men who were fishermen, tax collectors, etc., and changed them into reproductive Christians who reached their world with the Gospel in a demonstration of power.

2 How To Experience The Power Of God You have learned many principles of spiritual power in this ministry. Power Failure When there is a power failure, spiritual progress comes to a standstill. Lives are not changed through the power of the Gospel. The sick are not healed. Demons are not cast out. The Battle of the Mind Satan's primary assaults occur in our thought life. The mind is the main battlefield in spiritual warfare. Every attack of satan involves the human mind. Dealing With Demonic Powers If you are to wage effective warfare, you must learn how to deal with demonic powers that obsess, oppress, or possess the body, soul, and spirit. There are people all about you who are tormented, troubled, and even possessed by the powers of darkness known as demons. This message presents guidelines for ministering to those affected by demonic powers. The Perfection Process You must move beyond the point of just receiving blessings, to being a blessing. You must become a demonstrator instead of a spectator; a doer instead of only a hearer. When you do so, you will experience the true flow of God's power. You will experience a life force and anointing within you which you have never before known. You will experience life after religion. You will be on your way to perfection. When Jesus began His public ministry, it was a ministry of miracles. His ministry did not succeed because of its great organization. He started with twelve disciples and ended with eleven. It did not succeed because of popularity. In the end, everyone turned against Him including His own followers. His ministry touched the multitudes because of the demonstration of power. 3

4 How To Face The Enemy Always remember that Satan is behind every force that challenges true spiritual power. The power and authority of Jesus was challenged often during His earthly ministry. After Jesus was baptized in water and the power of the Holy Ghost came upon Him, His power was challenged by Satan in a series of three temptations Invasion You have answered the call to arms and been inducted in God's army. You have studied about enemy strategy and territory. You ve learned about God's battle plan and been armed with defensive and offensive weapons. With this message you actually enter the combat zone and begin to fight! This message also focuses on Satan's strategies and Scriptural counterstrategies for overcoming his deceptive tactics. "Strategies" are the science of forming and carrying out military operations. They are the methods or plans which lead to victory. These are your spiritual walls, and Satan attacks them with strategies identical to those used in the battle over the walls in Jerusalem. Battles Over Strategic Territory Previous messages focused on major attacks of the enemy on the mind, the tongue, your spiritual walls, and the combat zone of the world and the flesh. Spirit Transference After gaining some experience in warfare, soldiers usually receive more advanced instruction in specific areas of warfare. This portion of the warfare manual is entitled "spiritual warfare advanced training," the initials of which spell "SWAT." In military action, a "SWAT" 5

6 team is a specialized group of soldiers used for difficult missions. In this message you will study one of the most powerful and influential strategies used by Satan. When you maintain close association with or come under the influence of a person with a spirit more powerful than yours, you are open to the transference of that spirit to your own spirit.
