2 EPHESIANS 6 : Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

3 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people. 19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

7 PRAYER OF ST. FRANCIS Verse 1: Make me a channel of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me bring your love. Where there is injury, your pardon, Lord, And where there's doubt, true faith in you. Verse 2: Make me a channel of your peace. Where there's despair in life, let me bring hope. Where there is darkness only light, And where there's sadness ever joy. Refrain: Oh Master, grant that I may never seek So much to be consoled as to console. To be understood as to understand, To be loved as to love with all my soul. Verse 3: Make me a channel of your peace. It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; In giving of ourselves that we receive, And in dying that we're born to eternal life.

(EPH 6:11-13) Why are we facing struggles and the days of evil? - Satan wants to create his Kingdom. - Satan wants to revenge - Satan is jealous of us - Satan is afraid of us We can become powerful and dangerous We can bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the world We can be united in one Spirit and God s will can be done through us

23 THE ARMOUR OF GOD Belt of Truth: Strengthen/ Core Breastplate of Righteousness: Protect the heart/ Holiness Feet fitted with readiness of the Gospel: Stand/ Ready to move Shield of Faith: Protection Helmet of Salvation: Protect the heart, thought, action The Sword of the Spirit: God s powerful and effective word.

24 3. BE ALERT AND PRAY: THE 7TH DEADLY WEAPON! (EPH 6:18-20) 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people. 19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should. (EPH 6:18-20) Vision about revival - When God gives us visions, He wants us to pray - Pray for spiritual breakthrough - Keep on fighting the good fight with prayer, like Paul My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6) - Be like Paul: Know God, know our identity and purpose - Question: Do we have a good knowledge of God and ourselves?

26 CONCLUSION: PRAY IN UNITY IN THE SPIRIT Formulas of relationships: 1+1=1 and 1+1+1=1 Oneness in Christ + Pray in the Spirit = Eph 6:10 Whole army: grow, serve, and pray as ONE God has done His perfect part Be serious about our prayer life
