2 WINTER EXPEDITION ABOVE THE ARCTIC CIRCLE Experience the true winter of Lapland from a Snow Mobile. We will be crossing borders, driving through great winter landscapes in one of the last remaining wilderness areas of Europe. A Winter Expedition experiencing and admiring the beauty of this pristine nature and accepting the challenges that it throws our way... DAY 1 We start the Expedition from the village Äkäslompolo, Ylläs in the late afternoon/evening. We drive through the dark and snowy forest, over large wetlands through the wild, towards Sweden. The first night will be spent close to the border between Sweden and Finland in the village Kolari/Pajala where we also have dinner in the evening. DAY 2 Next morning we head off towards the village of Kangos and the old Log House Inn. We make our way through the snowy forest during the day. On arrival at the Kangos Inn a hot outdoor Sauna and Arctic jacuzzi will be waiting, We relax underneath the winter skies of Lapland. If we are Lucky we might see the Northern Lights... DAY 3 After breakfast we set out towards the Finnish border again. During this stretch we drive over mighty wetlands, cross small creeks and experience some real off track driving. We will spend our night in the remote and friendly atmosphere of Rajamaa/Muonio a border village on the Swedish side. DAY 4 The last morning we cross the border back to Finland again. We drive through the majestic Finnish nature with our goal set on the Ski Resort of Ylläs and Äkäslompolo, where the expedition first started.

4 MYSTICAL ADVENTURE THROUGH LAPLAND Experience the mystical sides of winter in Lapland! The vast open areas of the Lappish Tundra, the old forest of the Taiga and the frozen rivers, flowing gently through the surreal landscapes. The best way to experience this is by Snowmobile. During this adventurous week you also have the option to try Huskie sleigh and Snowshoeing through one of the last untouched parts of the World! DAY 1 - ARRIVAL We will be waiting for you at the airport and will bring you to your Hotel (Ylläs or Pajala) where you will check-in for the first night of our journey. After dinner we will have a last briefing where you will get the latest information about our trip, the weather and track conditions. You will also have the chance to use the traditional Finnish Sauna. DAY 2 - PAJALA/YLLÄS - RAJAMAA After breakfast we will pick you up at the Hotel and we will go to our Safari house where everyone will get his own Snowmobile. After strapping up our entire luggage on to the snowmobiles and getting dressed, it is time for a short driving instruction, Now we are ready to leave and explore the beautiful landscapes. After an outdoor lunch break we will keep on going to our first overnight stop at Rajamaa. DAY 3 - RAJAMAA - KANGOS Today we will head south, back into the forest lands. We will be driving over swamps and through some of the oldest forests in the area. During our relaxing drive we will have plenty of time for stops to enjoy the nature around us. After our outdoor lunch we will drive the last part to Kangos, where the wood heated outdoor Sauna and the Hot tub will be waiting for us, We will stay overnight in the lovely Kangos Inn, where you can also see the Guesthouses collection of antiques.

5 MYSTICAL ADVENTURE THROUGH LAPLAND DAY 4 - KANGOS - OPTIONAL DAY We have a wide variety of activities to choose from depending on the time of your visit. How about some Skiing on the lakes, Ice fishing, Husky Safaris or just a nice quiet day to enjoy the atmosphere of Lapland. The sauna will be heated before dinner and then we enjoy some well prepared local specialities from Lapland. DAY 5 - MOOSE CAMP - KANGOS After a good night sleep we head out to the Moose camp, this is a half day activity that can be arranged in the morning or afternoon. We travel to the majestic Scandinavian moose by bus. We take our time to fully enjoy the company of the Kings of the forrest and afterwards we embrace another quality sauna, dinner and night at the Kangos Inn. DAY 6 - KANGOS - TÄRENDÖ Today we will have an comfortable drive through the forests of Tärendö where we will stay overnight beside the second largest bifurcation in the World, at the Forest Hotel. In the evening we will enjoy the a nice Dinner and of course a traditional sauna. DAY 7 - TÄRENDÖ - PAJALA/YLLÄS After breakfast it is time to start our return journey either to Pajala or Ylläs. Where there is some free time to roam around and maybe get some souvenirs from your stay in Lapland DAY 8 - DEPARTURE After breakfast we will have to say good bye to the mystical sceneries of Lapland as a bus transfer brings you to the airport.

7 TRANS BARENTS SNOWMOBILE ADVENTURE This is a week long Snowmobile adventure that takes us through 3 Countries and vast untouched areas in the last true wilderness of Europe. We start off in Sweden and work our way through Swedish and Finnish Lapland Towards Russia along the Trans-Barents Snowmobile Route. DAY 1 - ARRIVAL The adventure starts from the remote village of Kangos in Swedish Lapland, where we set off towards the ski resort Levi in Finland. The snowmobiles takes us through mighty snowy forest areas and over large wetlands. We enjoy lunch at Rajamaa, on the border between Sweden and Finland and arrive in Levi in late afternoon. We spend our night at a Hotel and enjoy a well cooked Dinner in the evening. DAY 2 - SALLA FINLAND We start our day with a Breakfast buffét and head out towards the Finnish village of Salla. Salla is Located close to the border between Finland and Russia. We stop for lunch at an Inn in Sodankylä and enjoy the scenery from the Snowmobile routes of Finland. DAY 3 - RUSSIAN BORDER We have a nice breakfast and drive towards the Border Checkpoint Finland / Russia. We go through Visa procedures and head towards Alakurtti and the new Guesthouse built on the Trans-Barents trail. After we check in at the guesthouse we enjoy a Russian Dinner. DAY 4 - WHITE SEA DAY We travel through the russian tundra with local guides to the white sea. This is truly an awe inspiring experience, the vasteness of the arctic landscape can really make one stop and reflect.

8 TRANS BARENTS SNOWMOBILE ADVENTURE DAY 5 - BACK TO SUOMI We leave Alakurtti guesthouse in the morning and drive back towards the Border Checkpoint. Back in Finland our goal is the Capital of Finnish Lapland, Rovaniemi. We stop for lunch and enjoy our ride through the land of a thousand lakes. In Rovaniemi we overnight in a hotel and enjoy a nice sauna and dinner in the evening. DAY 6 - BACK TO SWEDEN We set our sights on the Swedish border and drive back towards Sweden through the Finnish winter landscape. After a nice lunch stop we arrive in Kangos in the late afternoon. We have yet another great dinner and outdoor sauna. And spend the evening remembering our adventure under the stars in the Jacuzzi. With luck some Northern Lights might keep us company.
