Moldings and transitions are made from oak and stained to coordinate with your floor. QUARTER ROUND: Covers the expansion gap between the floor and the base of the wall. T-MOLD: Covers transitions in doorways and expansion gaps required in large rooms. 6 Floor Care and Maintenance Protect your Natural Cork floor by taking the following precautions: Vacuum or sweep your floor at least once a week. Never wet mop your floor. Wipe up spills immediately. Use walk off mats at entrances and in front of kitchen sink. Avoid rubber backed or other non-ventilated mats or rugs. Install felt pads underneath feet of furniture. Use protective chair pads underneath chairs with rollers or casters. Maintain minimum relative humidity of 50%-60%. Never apply tape or adhesive products to floor surface. Keep pet claws trimmed. Maintaining Your Natural Cork Floor All that is required for maintenance is frequent and regular sweeping or vacuuming of your floor. When required, use a non-abrasive floor cleaner, without oils, that is recommended for hard surface flooring. Never wet mop your floor!
