Instructional Specialist Facilitated county-wide child welfare pre-service classroom instruction to prepare participants for a written examination, a field assessment process and to perform entry level child welfare casework to Department of Children and Families, Tampa, Fl. Operations and Management Consultant Managed and supervised the work of eight program specialists responsible for programmatic monitoring, interstate compact and technical assistance for field staff for a five county region. Oversight of the implementation of a new statewide automated tracking system for the entire five county region to 2000 Department of Children and Families, Tampa, Fl. Program Administrator Administrator for a five county district office responsible for a 36 million dollar budget, 25 employees, contract and programmatic monitoring, foster home and residential facility licensing, interstate compact, as well the technical assistance for direct services staff in the five county district.

Program Manager Managed and directly supervised the work of five program specialists who were responsible for programmatic monitoring, technical assistance for field staff and all quality assurance activities for a five county district to 1996 Department of Children and Families, Tampa, Fl. Ombudsman Managed all district family safety related client relations functions for a five county area. Duties included resolution of client and staff complaints and inquiries, completion of management reviews and reports, as well as other duties assigned by the district administrator to 1995 Department of Children and Families, Tampa, Fl. Contract Manager Managed contracts for residential facilities in a five county district. Duties included contract and programmatic monitoring, development of corrective action plans, tracking of corrective action compliance, contract negotiations, monthly invoice reconciliation, authorization for vendor payments and ongoing contract related activities to 1994 Department of Children and Families, Tampa, Fl. District Trainer

5 Facilitated the training of new employees regarding district policies, procedures and processes. Provided child abuse/neglect training for local law enforcement agencies and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Tracked all staff training and maintained a data base of all training activities for a district comprised of five counties to 1992 Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services, Tampa, Fl. Unit Supervisor Supervised two units comprised of caseworkers responsible for caseloads of families with children in court ordered foster care or children under court ordered supervision while living with parents or relatives. Responsible for all day to day unit activities, leadership of various workgroups and management of personnel issues concerning employees under my supervision to 1990 Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services, Tampa, Fl. Intake Counselor After receipt of law enforcement affidavits, responsibilities included all initial intake functions for juveniles charged with law violations, family interviews, disposition recommendations to the state attorney, preparation of various court reports, frequent court testimony and other related functions to 1988 Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services, Tampa, Fl. Caseworker Provided case management services for a caseload of children court ordered into foster care. Duties included

6 preparation and filing of legal documents, frequent court testimony, family and child assessments, monthly child and family visitation, qualified by the court as an expert witness and other case management activities to 1982 Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services, Tampa, Fl. Group Treatment Leader Group leader for males committed by the court to a halfway house due to criminal behavior. Lead daily group meetings, developed and implemented treatment plans, conducted family meetings, arranged and supervised recreational activities and managed facility and transportation maintenance activities Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services Tampa, Fl. Detention Child Care Worker Direct supervision of males who were arrested and subsequently detained by the court due to alleged law violations. Duties included intake and ongoing assessments, individual educational tutoring, court testimony, written reports and client transportation.
