1 Amplivox Audiometric Products 1 Diagnostic Audiometers Amplivox 270 A diagnostic audiometer that excels in the critical areas of technology, ergonomics and ease of use. Test results can be saved in memory for review at a later stage, printed with optional printer or exported via the NOAH (2&3) compatible interface. The Amplivox 270 has the flexibility to be used for both clinic and portable applications. Amplivox 260 Incorporates a comprehensive range of air conduction, bone conduction and speech test audiometry functions which make it the ideal choice for conducting diagnostic audiometry. Weighing just 715g, this audiometer meets all portable requirements. It also comes with the unique facility of optional internal battery power, NOAH (2&3) and printer connectivity and can utilize both TDH39/49 and insert earphone outputs. Amplivox 240 An inexpensive diagnostic audiometer which facilitates both air conduction and bone conduction measurements. It is the ideal instrument for professionals who require a totally portable audiometer as it is both lightweight and has the unique facility of optional internal battery power and NOAH connectivity (2&3). These audiometers should be of considerable interest to the hospital, audiology and hearing aid departments, private audiologists and ENT markets where there is a mobile requirement.
2 2 Screening Audiometers (Air conduction only) 2.1 Manual screening audiometers Amplivox 116 A manual screening audiometer which is extremely reliable and very easy to operate. Compact and lightweight (just 655g), the model 116 is totally portable using either the supplied mains adaptor or the optional battery power function. Reduced test times and improved concentration levels are made possible with the threshold retention function. The model 116 has met the audiometric requirements of numerous primary care, community and manufacturing organisations. Amplivox 160 The Amplivox 160 is designed to improve results recording by producing an archive quality audiogram when used with the specified portable thermal printer. It offers a comprehensive air conduction threshold facility at a cost-effective price. It is lightweight and compact, is totally portable and is ideal for both desktop and mobile use using either the mains adaptor or the optional battery power function. These audiometers are ideal for school nurses, primary care groups, GP surgeries and industry.
3 2.2 Automatic screening audiometers Amplivox 170 A low cost screening audiometer offering both automatic and manual audiometry. Results can be printed with the optional designated printer, saved in memory for future use, recorded manually or transferred to a PC installed with Amplivox Audibase software. Lightweight and compact, the Amplivox 170 is totally portable and is ideal for both desktop and mobile needs. Amplivox PC850 An automatic audiometer that integrates with a PC to provide a comprehensive and pro-active audiometric facility. The product has a user definable recall facility and extensive data analysis features that enable at risk individuals and user defined groups to be identified and monitored. The Amplivox PC850 is a cost effective solution for the provision, storage and management analysis of audiometric test results. CA850 Series 4 Audiometer Designed for use in occupational workplace health environments, the CA850/4 will automatically measure, evaluate and categorise hearing threshold levels in a very efficient and cost effective manner. The Amplivox CA850 Series 4 audiometer is very easy to use with the operation built around one key. Test results are displayed on the large integral display as an actual audiogram. The results can be saved as (1) archive quality printout, (2) held in memory (up to 1000 audiograms) and/or (3) transferred to a computer. The instrument is also compact and lightweight, features which will be of benefit if there is a mobile requirement. These audiometers should be of significant interest to occupational health/work place health departments of commercial, public sector and military organisation who are required to test a large number of patients as part of a hearing conservation program.
4 3 Tympanometers/impedance products Amplivox Otowave & Elegantly shaped to follow the contours of a hand and with a perfect weight distribution, fast middle ear measurements can be completed with accuracy and confidence. The Amplivox Otowave is totally portable and weighs just 380g (including batteries). Tympanometry and reflex results are easily reviewed on the large highresolution display and can be printed, stored within internal memory (with patient identification and test date and/or transferred to a PC with a NOAH database without the need to connect data cables to the otowave tympanometer
5 4 Audiocups Noise reducing headset enclosures which offer the following benefits:- Permit accurate pure tone audiometry in conditions of ambient noise too high for unshielded earphones. Can be fitted easily to any audiometer earphone using standard TDH39/49 inserts. Complete freedom from threshold shift no change in audiometer calibration at time of fitting. Subsequent periodic recalibration can be effected on standard ISO 6cc coupler without removal of inserts from Audiocups. Invaluable where a silent cabin or soundproof room is not available.
