2 Friday Activities: Bowling: The lanes have been booked from 2.00pm and on arrival you should report to John Parsons (Regional Representative) who is organising the event. Your name or society name will be on the bowling list Golf: Assemble 11.30am in the Club House for soup and sandwiches (courtesy of ERYC) Tee times First tee off 12:00 hrs Tom Knights (Maltby Theatre Group) will greet you all at the Club House and advise tee off times accordingly. Coach Trip: The trip will depart from the Bridlington Spa at 12.30pm please meet there at 12.15pm on Friday 22nd April A member of the regional committee will be looking after you for the afternoon. They will have a list of names of the people attending the trip. Matinee Film with Cream Tea Please assemble in the Spa Foyer at 2pm where a member of the regional committee will meet you. Saturday Workshops: Dance with Danyl James Turvey in the Royal Hall All That Jazz - Beginners Come an learn a Fosse routine to a minute and half of the popular Chicago number. A perfect mix of beginner and Intermediate steps to develop your skills. Great if you enjoy dancing and want to enjoy an hour and half of doing what you love. This workshop will focus on the performance through dance rather than just technique, giving skills to take back to your own societies. Take Me to Heaven - Intermediate/Advanced A fast paced, high energy routine to a great number from Sister Act. Great for dancers who want a professional environment to showcase your talents and develop your skills. This class will put focus on the performance of the routine, educating people on how to fully perform a dance and how that effects your movement. This routine is a little tricky so a passion for dance and learning is needed. Learn new steps, skills and most of all, enjoy yourself. Get ready to sweat! Singing with Neil Balfour in the Promenade Bar 0 - Singing Back by popular demand, Neil will take you from naught to singing in, about, two and a half hours! Drama with Gareth Davies in the Bay View Lounge Acting in Character A practical workshop exploring different methods to create, build and communicate character in performance. Prosthetics and Special Effects with Natasha Jordan in the Harbour Suite 1 Little Workshop of Horrors Enjoy a morning exploring the weird and wonderful world of stage prosthetics and special effects. Youth in Theatre with Our New Youth Advisors in Harbour Suite 2 Join our two new Regional Youth Advisors for a short informal session on this important topic. Share experiences and ideas. Marketing Your Show with John Waite in Harbour Suite 2 John does the marketing for GAOS and is passionate about the importance of the topic.
