3 DAY 1 DAY 2 HELSINKI - LAHTI (the South) Sunday, 29 January km / 1:25 LAHTI AND KUOPIO REGION (the East) Monday, 30 January km / 3:30 Half Day in Helsinki sightseeing and then drive north to Lahti. In the morning, visit Lahti and Hollola and then depart for the Kuopio region, in the east of the country in North Savo. 4 DAY 3 KUOPIO REGION AND RANUA (Southern Lapland) Tuesday, 31 January km / 5:45 After snowshoeing and ice fishing first thing in the morning, we head for Ranua in Southern Lapland. DAY 4 RANUA (Southern Lapland) AND LEVI (Western Lapland) Wednesday, 1 February km / 3:15 We explore Ranua Arctic Wildlife Park and visit an ice statue exhibition. A private meeting with a polar bear awaits you! For those who wish, a return flight back home from Rovaniemi is a possibility. Breakfast at the cottage Depart for Rovaniemi A visit to the site of the official Arctic circle in Rovaniemi Official Santa Claus Visit in Rovaniemi Lunch at Rovaniemi Transfer to Rovaniemi airport or by road to Kuopio Overnight in Kuopio near Kuopio Tower DAY 8 KUOPIO AND JAALA (South-East) Sunday, 5 February km / 4:15 Tour of Kuopio in the Lake District with local dishes for lunch. Road to Jaala for a night at a lakeside cottage.
