1 Kindle User Guide Kindle Fire Download an ebook (EPUB Format) Kindle Fire Amazon.com Account OverDrive Media Console app Adobe ID If you don t have a free Adobe ID get one now at adobe.com (make sure to remember your username and password). Download the free OverDrive Media Console app from the Amazon Appstore. Click on the menu button at the bottom and select Get Books > Add a Library. Enter Highland City Library or your zip code to find our digital library. Sign in to OverDrive with your library card number (to see OverDrive Advantage Find an EPUB book, select Borrow > Download (select one format) > check EPUB ebook > Confirm & Download. You can find your ebook in the OverDrive Media Console app by selecting Bookshelf from the menu button. Go to the bookshelf. Tap the grey + sign next to the book you want to return. *EPUB format works well if you want to reliably download directly to your device (no issues with Penguin Publishers). Some advantages to the OverDrive app that it is easier to browse for library books and all library ebooks are stored in the app.

Click on Get Books (top right) and Add a library. Enter Highland City Library or your zip code to find our digital library. Sign in to OverDrive with your library card number (to see OverDrive Advantage Find an EPUB book, select Borrow > Download (select one format) > check EPUB ebook > Confirm & Download. You will find your ebook in the OverDrive Media Console app in the Bookshelf under (top right). Open the OverDrive Media console app. Go to the Bookshelf. 3 Kindle Fire/Kindle Fire HD Download an ebook (Kindle Format) Kindle Fire or Kindle Fire HD Use the browser on the Kindle Fire/ Fire HD to go to the pioneerutah.lib.overdrive.com website. Find a Kindle book, select Borrow > Download (select one format) > check Kindle Book > Confirm & Download. Once you are redirected to the Amazon.com website, click Get Library Book (make sure you select the correct device). Click Download Now. Sync your Kindle Fire/ Fire HD. Once you deliver a library book to your Kindle or Kindle reading app, it reads just like any other Kindle book. Browse to amazon.com and go to Your Account > Manage Your Kindle. Click the Actions tab next to the book you want to return. Select Return this book. After the browser refreshes, select Delete from library. *Kindle format works well if you would like to read and sync your ebook on multiple devices. However, you cannot directly download ebooks from Penguin Publishers. Penguin ebooks require you to connect your Kindle to your computer and transfer via USB.

Find an MP3 audiobook, select Borrow > Download (MP3 audiobook). You can find your eaudiobook in the OverDrive Media Console app by selecting Bookshelf from the menu button. Go to Bookshelf. Sign in to OverDrive with your library card number (to see OverDrive Advantage Find an MP3 audiobook, select Borrow > Download (MP3 audiobook). You will find your eaudiobook in the OverDrive Media Console app in the Bookshelf under (top right). Go to the Bookshelf.

6 Kindle Paperwhite/Touch/Keyboard Download an ebook Kindle device with Wi-Fi Computer with Internet access Browse to the pioneerutah.lib.overdrive.com website from your computer. Find a Kindle book, select Borrow > Download (select one format) > check Kindle Book > Confirm & Download. Once you are redirected to the amazon.com website, click on Get Library Book (make sure you select the correct device). Click Download Now. Sync your Kindle. Once you deliver a library book to your Kindle or Kindle reading app, it reads just like any other Kindle book. An active Wi-Fi connection is required for wireless delivery to a Kindle device. Library books will not be delivered via your Kindle s 3G connection. NOTE: You will not be able to send Kindle books from Penguin Group publishers from your computer to a device wirelessly. Browse to amazon.com and go to Manage Your Kindle. Click the Actions tab next to the book you want to return. Select Return this book. After the browser refreshes, select Delete from library.

Find an MP3 audiobook, select Borrow > Download (select one format) > check MP3 Audiobook > Confirm & Download. Download your book OverDrive Media Console on your computer. Connect your device to your computer. In OverDrive Media Console highlight the title you would like to transfer. Click the Transfer button. The Transfer Wizard is displayed. Verify that the correct title is displayed on the first screen of the Transfer Wizard and click Next. The Transfer Wizard searches for a connected portable device. Next to Player, select your Kindle. In the Parts dialog box, select the Part(s) you want to transfer by checking the box(es) next to the Part name(s). Select Advanced Options and browse to transfer the audiobook to the /music subfolder on the Kindle. Click Next to begin transferring the file(s) to your device. When the transfer is complete, the Transfer Wizard displays a Success message. Click Finish to exit the Transfer Wizard. Disconnect your portable device. You can play your MP3 audiobook on your Kindle under Menu > Experimental > MP3 Player. *You cannot download eaudiobooks to the Kindle Paperwhite.
