1 Introduction The Cartshed is a stone built single storey detached cottage and is approached directly from the road. Car parking is under a car port on gravel Pre-Arrival We have an extensive website, with diagrams of the floor/room layouts and pictures of all the rooms Enquiries can be made directly from the website via , or via telephone or by letter All guests are provided with written directions to the cottage (available on request in dyslexia friendly font - Lexia) The nearest bus stop is next to the Memorial Roundabout half a mile away Chathill Railway Station is 5 miles away The nearest RADAR toilet is in Seahouses main car park - 300m away Taxis can be booked by telephone - See our welcome folder useful numbers This access statement is available on our website and in the Welcome File in the cottage Arrival & Car Parking Facilities Car parking is available directly outside the cottage Main Entrance & Reception The main entrance is the front door. The key for this door is located in the key safe to the left of the door, you will receive the code with your directions There is PIR operated lighting in the porch and carport The front door is hinged on the left and 90cm wide Thumb turn on interior for keyless exit The front door opens into the hall area. Through the inner door hinged to the left and 90cm wide is the lounge/kitchen/diner. The room has a rough flag stone floor. There is a mat between the front door and the lounge door. The light switch is on the wall on the right. The main light switch is just inside the lounge door on the right.

2 On the work surface in the kitchen is the Welcome Park which has all the details about the cottage within it. Public Areas - General (Internal) Not Available Public Areas - WC Not Available Dining Room & Lounge Door from the hall to the lounge/dining room is 70cm wide by 196cm high The floor is rough stone flags. There is one 3 seater sofa and one 2 seater sofa There is a TV with remote control, a DVD an MP3 player and radio The dining table has two drop leaves. There are 6 dining chairs There is a dresser with 3 cupboards holding a small library of books, maps, CDs, DVDs, games etc A coffee table is situated between the sofas and TV There is free internet access if you wish to bring your lap top There is a small log burning stove in the corner of the lounge A starter supply of logs, kindling and matches are supplied Laundry/dishwashing There is a front loading washing machine available in the kitchen units. The washing machine is 40cm wide and 86cm high In the cottage a drying rack is stored in the hall cupboard A retractable washing line is available outside Thee is a standard size dishwasher situated in the kitchen Shop

3 Treatment room/s Leisure Facilities Not Applicable Outdoor Facilities Exiting from the lounge door, there is a courtyard area which is gravelled and flagged, therefore an uneven surface A sturdy picnic bench and a small BBQ are available for guests to use Conference & Meeting Rooms, Banqueting, Clubs, Entertainment Not Applicable Stairs Landing Bedroom 1 The ledge and brace door is hinged on the left and opened by a thumb latch. There is a zip and link king size bed All bedding is cotton or percale with non feather pillows and quilt The space to the left of the bed is 66cm wide. The space to the right of the bed is 52cm The main room light has a switch next to the door on the left. There are 2 separate bedside lamps available by each side of the bed

4 Spare blankets are stored in the wardrobe There is a chest of drawers on the right with a lamp and mirror A TV is situated on the wall above the chest of drawers and has a remote control Ensuite The ledge and brace door is hinged on the right and opens by a thumb latch into the bathroom. The bath is in front of you with a shower over. Shower operates from the bath controls The 50cm wide basin is to the left and the toilet pan is between the basin and bath Bedroom 2 The ledge and brace door is hinged on the right and opens by a thumb latch. The bed is a 6 foot wide super king double All bedding is cotton or percale with non feather pillows and quilt There is a wardrobe on the right as you enter the room The light switch is on the left as you enter the room There is a chest of drawers on the left with mirror, with a wall mounted TV above it A dressing table is situated under the window. Spare blankets are store in the wardrobe Ensuite shower room This is accessed from the bedroom, the electric shower is 80cm x 80cm quadrant with a low level entry (tray is 50mm) with double sliding doors. The shower operates from a switch in the bedroom. The basin is 60cm wide and the toilet is a standard height Bathroom door is 90cm wide, opens with a thumb latch and is hinged on the right opening into the shower room Self-catering kitchen The kitchen is off the lounge. The floor is rough flags Fire extinguisher and fire blanket are situated on the wall next to the fridge The work surface is 90cm high and 60cm deep. The sink and electric hob are also 92cm high

5 Above the hob is an extractor unit which operates by controls at the front. There are wall cupboards as well as under bench cupboards and drawers A microwave is available on the work bench to the right of the hob The dishwasher is under the bench to the right of the sink. The door opens from the top downwards There is a built in fridge and freezer Catering standard crockery is provided in the cupboards above and below the work surfaces. Glasses and cups etc are in the wall cupboards The electric oven can be accessed from the front. The oven door grill is under bench height The kitchen is lit by the main room lights and under cupboard lighting.
