5 About ASIPI The Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), is an association founded in 1964, which has more than members mostly belong to countries of the Americas. ASIPI is a non-profit organization and its main objective is promote the development and harmonization of laws, regulations and procedures related to industrial and intelectual property in the American countries. ASIPI is recognized and respected worldwide as propulsive and defender of intellectual property rights. For the development of its corporate purpose, ASIPI organizes congresses, seminars, conferences, workshops and courses on regular basis, on important issues for intellectual property.
