If it were only at the second glance that one noticed the surface lighting emitted from the shelves in this system? What an effect! Technically, the light input at the front edge of the shelf is from concealed LED hotspots which remain invisible to the observer and therefore cause no glare. Microstructures in the shelf ensure a uniform light emission downwards over the entire area. The power supply is inductive and there are no failure-prone contacts or mechanical connections. This means that the interior of the refrigerator can remain completely closed and there is no insulation loss due to openings and cut-outs. In this way, innovation is combined with efficiency.
