All pieces must be for sale. The Official Opening event will be at 2:00pm Sunday 3 July. The Exhibition will be open to the public from Sunday 3 July to Sunday 10 July 2016 Please complete and submit the following forms with this application: Shire of Kalamunda Suppliers Form ATO Suppliers form if you do not have an ABN These can be obtained from the Zig Zag Gallery. Exhibition will be held at: Zig Zag Gallery, 50 Railway Road, Kalamunda 6076 Delivery of Artworks No later than 12pm on Thursday 30 June 2016 The Nyoongar seasons are Birak, Bunuru, Djeran, Makuru, Djilba and Kambarang. Each of the six seasons represents and explains the seasonal changes we see annually. The flowering of many different plants, the hibernation of reptiles and the moulting of swans are all helpful indicators that the seasons are changing.

3 Criteria 1. Artists over the age of 18 are invited to submit work for the Makuru Exhibition. 2. Artwork must be completed after July 2015 any artworks not fulfilling this criteria will not be included in the exhibition. 3. The Zig Zag Gallery will take 30% commission on all sales. 4. The entrant has sole responsibility to ensure the work does not infringe another creator s copyright and intellectual property. Entries submitted by Indigenous artists are subject to Aboriginal laws with regard to the use of traditional designs. Artworks displaying cultural heritage specific to a group within the Indigenous community may require permission from the relevant community. 5. All entrants agree that the Zig Zag Gallery may use images of artwork to promote the exhibition and artists without further permissions. 6. All media welcome, including and not limited to painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media and photography. 7. All artworks must be suitably presented and ready for exhibition. The artwork must be ready to hang if it is two dimensional with D rings or ready to display on a plinth if it is three dimensional. Any works not filling this criteria will be returned to the exhibitor. 8. 2D works are not to exceed 1100mm x 1100mm. 9. 3D works are not to exceed 1m square or weigh more than 25kg. 10. Non-standard display equipment specific to the artwork must be supplied by the artist. Special requirements must be discussed with the Gallery Coordinator prior to installation. 11. The work must be packaged and clearly labelled with title of artwork, your name and contact details. 12. A maximum of two entries only. 13. Administration of sales and payment to artists may take up to four weeks after the close of the exhibition. 14. All exhibitors must complete the Entry Form and Payment Details for Sale of Artworks Form.
