2 The Vision Founded in September 2010 by Mark and Josie NeJame, Runway to Hope's mission is to provide direct support and aid to Central Florida children and their families impacted by pediatric cancer. Through partnerships with Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Florida Hospital for Children and Nemours Children s Hospital, Runway to Hope fosters collaborative efforts among corporations, local businesses and philanthropists to not only raise funds and awareness, but also bring new programs and initiatives to the pediatric cancer community. OUR SPONSORS Each of our sponsors has the unique opportunity to not only save children s lives, but also make the lasting memory of a lifetime for our pediatric cancer kids on this evening. Sponsor involvement is so important as private donations are essential to curing pediatric cancer. Sadly, not enough research money is dedicated for its cure. is our signature fundraising event of the year. The highlight of the evening is a special fashion show featuring more than 90 incredible and brave children, ages 2 to 18, all who are currently battling or have overcome their cancer. Modeling much more than clothing, these courageous children walk the runway arm in arm with one of our dozens of national and local celebrity escorts as they show off their truest beauty of all their unwavering spirits. Our Runway to Hope Spring Fashion Soiree is a celebration of these children and their incomparable strength and courage. The Spring Fashion Soiree is also a true testament to the support and passion the Central Florida community has shown toward this inspiring cause. Since Runway to Hope s inception in 2010, the Spring Fashion Soiree has grown from 800 guests to 1,600 guests in its third year and raised more than $700,000 in contributions making it among Central Florida s largest and most anticipated events. The Spring Fashion Soiree takes place in one of the country s largest and most beautiful ballrooms at Rosen Shingle Creek, one of our amazing corporate sponsors.

4 The $3 Million Pledge Funds raised by the Spring Fashion Soiree benefit the pediatric oncology programs at our three local pediatric hospitals. Proceeds contribute towards Runway to Hope s 7-year pledge of $1 million to each Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Florida Hospital for Children and the newest addition to our community, Nemours Children s Hospital. AT ARNOLD PALMER HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN, funds support Central Florida s first-ever comprehensive Pediatric Neuro- Oncology Program, comprised of a team that provides the full range of medical and emotional support specific to pediatric brain tumor patients during and after treatment. AT FLORIDA HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN, funds support the Pediatric Palliative Care Program, which provides physical, emotional, social, and spiritual support to children battling cancer and their families. AT NEMOURS CHILDREN S HOSPITAL, funds support both the Community Children s Oncology Program, a database which will improve access to leading edge therapies, research and resources to pediatric cancer patients throughout Northern and Central Florida, and Pediatric Interventional Oncology which serves cancer patients directly through utilizing rare and advanced imaging technologies for localized treatment.
