2 FUN Fonix book 3 To the teacher or parents: This book will lead your student through long vowel sounds with silent e. This book is designed to instill confidence in reading spelling, and solidify phonics rules for young learners. The words and pictures were designed for children and to reflect vocabulary students should have already encountered. At the top of each section there are instructions for the student to read with the help of the teacher. The sections flow from sound recognition to vocabulary building. Then it moves from word building to writing and reading. This book is most beneficial if the vocabulary is not new to the student. Before doing any activity, it s best to have the students name all the pictures. Illustrations by Mark Cox Fun Fonix.com - free phonics worksheets and phonics resources for teachers 2
