Schoenwald, MD Associate Professor of Anesthesiology Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University Anesthesiology Residency Director OVERVIEW This symposium is designed to present the most recent information on clinical practice issues facing anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists. A diverse faculty will provide an update on the impact of technology on anesthesia, critical care for surgical patients, anesthesia outside the traditional boundary of the operating room, obstetric and pediatric anesthesia. Learning activities will be presented in several formats, including traditional lectures, workshops, and case discussions. Additional break-out sessions include workshops and Problem Based Learning Discussions presented in didactic and hands-on workshop formats. Workshops have size limits. All activities will be conducted in the host hotel with the active participation of the anesthesiology departments of the Cleveland Clinic main and Weston campuses. WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
