The bike parking lot is also your transition area every athlete gets his own postal box for the change clothes. The attractive and challenging bike course brings you right through the beautiful Zabergäu. Afterwards it s running along the river Neckar through the city center of Heilbronn. Experience an unforgettable moment with the entrance into our Market Square Stadium cross the finishline on the red carpet and enjoy this moment with the applause of all the eager spectators. Now, here are the details: Courses: Challenge Half 1.9 km swim / 90 km bike / 21 km run (Time limit: Swim 65 min; after bike 5 h 20 min; Finish 8 h 05 min) Olympic Distance 1.5 km swim / 40 km bike / 10 km run (Time limit: Swim 55 min; after bike 3 h 10 min; Finish 4 h 20 min) Sprint Distance 0.5 km Swim / 20 km bike / 5 km run (Time limit: Swim 25 min; after bike 1 h 40 min; Finish 2 h 30 min) + relay for Challenge Half, Olympic Distance and Sprint Distance Remark: The stated time limits are valid after race start. The contract is generally closed for the standard price when registering online. Nevertheless, each participant reserves the right for the respective early bird price if registering in the above stated time frame and paying un 7 days after registration. All fees include 19% VAT and the duty for the Baden-Württemberg Triathlon Association. A late registration is possible during the distribution of race documents on Saturday before race day, in the case of free starting places. It will be charged a late registration fee of EUR 25,-. Payment of the entry fee, licence fee (if necessary), fee for lending chip, plus additional booked performances (e.g. Late Check-In Challenge Half), can effected by debit note (SEPA) or credit card. All bank fees must be paid by the participant. Please observe that payment by credit card will have a special charge of 5%. Announcement Challenge Heilbronn /7

5 Entry limit: The number of entries on the several distances is limited as follows: Challenge Half 1500 Olympic Distance 400 Sprint Distance 300 Relay Challenge Half 60 Relay Olympic Distance 60 Relay Sprint Distance 60 License/One-day permit: Athletes without a valid license of their national triathlon association must purchase a one-day permit for the Olympic Distance for EUR 20,- and for the Challenge Half for EUR 25,- at the pick-up of the race package. Starters on the Sprint Distance and relay starters on all distances do not need a license or permit. Athletes with valid license must show it personally with an official ID at the race package pick-up. Further information on the one-day permit and the duty can be found on (only in German). Timekeeping: The timekeeping is done with the ChampionChip MikaTiming-System. Please state the number of your own chip when registering or choose that you need to borrow a chip, which must be selected with the online registration (rental fee EUR 5,-). The lending fee is calculated with the debit. Should the lending chip not be returned after the race, the chip security of EUR 25,-- will be debited from your bank account afterwards by mikatiming. Prize money and prizes in kind: Prize money will be given only on the Challenge Half (1.9/90/21 km). Prize money for single starter whole evaluation: Men/Women: 5000 / 2500 / 1550 / 1000 / 750 / 500 / 450 / 350 / 250 / 150 On all other distances there will be prizes in kind that will be announced later. 6 Age groups and judgement: M male, W female. Age-class is counting. This may be subject to changes. Minimum age: For all single distances and relays only athletes are admitted that are of full age according to German law (18 years old) the latest when picking up the race package at the race office (entry hall of the City Hall) and acknowledging the disclaimer. A club membership is not necessary. For the Challenge Half, the Olympic Distance, the Sprint Distance and all relays athletes are admitted, which have completed the age of 18 on the competition day. Relays: A relay team must consist of a minimum of 2 athletes, i.e. there is also the possibility that one person accomplishes two parts for one team. In a relay team with only two athletes, the disciplines for one of the two may not lie successively. Application: Application needs to be done through the registration of mikatiming GmbH on the application form on our website. It is necessary to set up a personal user account. Thereby every user is able to change the personal data such as name, club etc. subsequent. A right for a start exists only after the payment receipt on the bank account. The athlete will be tagged accordingly in the starters list. If there is no payment receipt 7 days after registration, the entry may be deleted. A transfer of registration is not possible. 7 Deregistration/withdrawal and partial refund of entry fee: Only un May, 13 th 2016, a deregistration/withdrawal is possible. By this time a partial refund of the entry fee will be made. After a deregistration the entry fee will be refunded after deduction of EUR 50,-. Past this date no refunds will be made. Deadline: June, 3 rd Entry fees must be on the bank account on June, 10 th 2016 the latest, otherwise there is no right on start.
