2 3M Sorbent Configurations 3M Sorbent Booms 3M Sorbent Booms are used to stop the spread of a spill and are the first line in spill containment. Once you have booms in place you can then use pads, rolls or pillows to recover the spilt liquids. Booms will also recover large amounts of liquids. Booms are available in Oil & Petroleum, Chemical & Universal and General Purpose versions. 3M Sorbent Pads 3M Sorbent Pads are used to clean up and recover spilt liquids. Rolls give you the ability to use the exact amount of sorbent required. You can leave required amounts of sorbent on the spill, to soak up larger areas. They can also be used as matting in dirty areas or where contamination is an issue. Rolls are available in both Oil & Petroleum and Chemical & Universal versions. 3M Sorbent Pillows 3M Sorbent Pillows are used to clean up and recover spilt liquids in hard to reach areas such as bilge pumps, drains, sumps and holding tanks. Pillows are available in both Oil & Petroleum and Chemical & Universal versions. 3M Folded Sorbents The unique 3M Folded Sorbents are 4 products in one. Able to be used as a boom, sheet, pad, or pillow, this allows one product to be stocked for almost any liquid spill. Perforations every 40cm permit the required length of sorbent to be selected so there is no waste. The handy dispenser allows easy on site or off site use and can be wall mounted. 4 3M Oil & Petroleum Sorbents Reusable & Repels Water 3M oil and petroleum sorbents are designed specifically to control, clean and recover oil and other petroleum based fluids. They repel and float on water while absorbing hydrocarbon based fluids. These sorbents are available in many configurations including, booms, sheets, pads, pillows and rolls. The 3M sorbent range can be reused, with 90% of the absorbed oil able to be rung out and reclaimed. 3M Oil & Petroleum Sorbent Pad HP156 Easy to apply and retrieve, these pads are highly absorbent and can be used on land and water in numerous clean up and maintenance applications.
