1 2015 PROJECT JESUS FOR CHILDREN Reaching teachers and students with the message of God s love and salvation in Central and North America

2 Studying my book has helped me stop fighting with everyone. What Project workers do day to day Train public school teachers to use the material Vital Values with Jesus and how to show and use the Jesus film. Visit teachers to distribute the material and encourage them in their daily classes. Strengthen relationships with education authorities. Teach on-site example lessons so that teachers with difficulties in using the program improve.

3 I learned that we should have clean hearts and not hold any grudges. From Bill & Sandy Davidson Again it is with joy that we arrive at the end of another year, and without doubt each of us can say that God s faithfulness is the reason. God has been faithful to give us favour, preserve us from falling and failing, faithful to say, This is the way, walk ye in it. God has been faithful to Project Jesus through the partners He has linked with this ministry. How we hope and pray that each of you who has contributed financially and prayed consistently is able to rejoice with us. Together we thank our Lord Jesus Christ for calling us to this wonderful work of seeing His life become the life and practice of thousands of children. We are thankful for the 2832 school teachers that are on the front lines, sharing Biblical teaching with their students using Vital Values with Jesus and the Children s Jesus Film. We are thankful for the 170,662 students and the many beautiful testimonies that children and teachers shared with us of changed lives, healed homes and restored relationships. Parents stating that something positive is happening to their children is evident proof of the power of the Gospel and the labour of love of their school teachers. We are thankful for the 40 percent growth in numbers in We are not altogether sure of how much growth we will see in the coming year, but our goal is to see God glorified and as many children possible learn of Jesus. Obviously we are just scratching the surface and there are still millions of opportunities. We praise the Lord for the covering of the blood of Jesus. As our granddaughter says, Happyluia! 4 I learned that we have to quit lying and speaking bad about our neighbor. Lives Changed through God s Word in the Vital Values with Jesus books 6 th grade students: While writing out their answers to God in their Vital Values books at the end of the lesson on physical integrity, three of my students started to cry, and standing up they confessed that they had been trying to slit their veins with scissors during the last few months. Now that they understood that their bodies were the temple of God they would not continue. The home room teacher that was present was weeping. 5 th grade student: 2 nd grade students: 3 rd grade students: Our teacher had argued with another teacher, so during our lesson on forgiveness, we stopped the class and explained to our teacher that she needed to go across the hall and make things right. At first she didn t want to but we convinced her to by cheering her on. Right then and there, she went and talked to teacher Daisy and they forgave each other. Now we can all be happy at school. Two of my students are cousins, but their mothers had forbid them to talk to each other because of a fight that they had had. During the lesson on kindness, the cousins stood up and gave each other a big hug. I am happy to have learned more of Jesus and most of all I am thankful to God and the people who enabled me to have my own book.

5 I changed from wanting to be a gang member to a pastor that can help gang members. Testimonies from teachers I have never seen anything like this before. In all my years of teaching, Vital Values with Jesus has produced the most positive changes and lasting impact in my students. One of my students, David, has changed incredibly since I started teaching Vital Values with Jesus. He is much more calm and has stopped fighting with his classmates. His father even told me that he has shown change at home too. This was the first year I used Vital Values with Jesus. My students have changed and are continually challenged to put into practice the values they learn, to the point that my principal has given me honorable mention as he has noticed the change in the students. I noticed a significant change in Seidy, who comes from a home full of drugs and crime. She has changed and has confidence that God will help her overcome. Using the material has been a beautiful experience for me, as despite the times we live in, it s noticeable the way my students now express themselves with tolerance and love for their neighbor.

6 I learned to tell the truth even when my mom tells me to lie to my Dad. I want to obey Jesus. VISION Extending God s Kingdom in the education systems of each country He leads us into, through the teaching of the life of Christ and Christian values in the classrooms in conjunction with the educational authorities. The tools we use: Vital Values with Jesus is a teachers manual with 6 student work books for grades 1 to 6. For more information please look on our website The Jesus film for Children is used widely in the schools as an essential part of the teaching process. Finished in Spanish this year and to be put into use in 2016 are the new preschool books, My First Values with Jesus. Learning to listen and obey. 7 I read my Vital Values book at night to help me go to sleep and not have nightmares. Nicaragua This year in Nicaragua, we did not reach as many public school kids as we are waiting for permission but the private schools increased. It was a great year. 8 I learned to bring back to the teacher things that I find that are not mine. Costa Rica It was an amazing year of teachers deepening their relationship with Jesus. Schools 1,029 Panama Students 92,813 Teachers 549 What a blessed start in Panama! The government endorsed the pilot plan, reaching 15,000 students. Word quickly spread and another 19 schools asked us for books. There are incredible open doors here. Schools 58 Students 20,562 Teachers 685

9 The lesson on purity taught me that our bodies are not for prostitution but for the Lord. Dominican Republic In August we started at the beginning of their school year. God has opened the doors with the government and they have told us that the national permission will be ready in a few months and we can start the pilot plan. Schools 2 Students 269 Teachers 9 Alberta, Canada We are very excited about what God has been doing in the last few years in the Canadian Catholic school system for Project Jesus that has resulted in the first school board implementing the material late this year. 11 My Vital Values book helped me through my stay in the hospital. Letters written from the students to you Why is it fun to learn values? I like to study my Vital Values book because it teaches me to respect and love God and others more. I think my Vital Values book is very nice and very important because it teaches us how to behave and how to love God. I don t think anything should be changed because we learn so much. Thank you to the people who donated the Vital Values books to us because we have discovered values such as responsibility in them. We have learned so much about the Bible and about God s way and how to not behave poorly in our family and school. We learned to not lie and to not use bad words. The Bible teaches us to be good kids. I liked working in my Vital Values book because we made a lot of very cool crafts that taught us values. The book is very practical and teaches how to always think about Jesus. I am very happy with my book and am learning so much. I thank you for the books that you sent us. We have learned very important things about Jesus. We thank you so much for everything and hope that we can have the next grade of Vital Values books in 2016.
