Corso ORDINANCE OF THE CITY AND BOROUGH OF JUNEAU, ALASKA Serial No. 00- An Ordinance Amending the Land Use Code Relating to Fees for Services by the Community Development Department. BE IT ENACTED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE CITY AND BOROUGH OF JUNEAU, ALASKA: Section 1. Classification. This ordinance is of a general and permanent nature and shall become a part of the City and Borough code. Section. Amendment of Section. CBJ..0 is amended to read:..0 GENERAL. Processing fees are established for each development, platting, design review, and other land use action in accordance with the following schedule: (1) Minor Development. (A) Staff review, twenty-five dollars $ if no building permit is required; (B) Staff review, no charge if a building permit is required; (C) Sign permit, $0. () Minor Subdivision or Consolidation. (A) Subdivision creating additional lots, ninety dollars per lot or two hundred and forty dollars $0, whichever is greater; (B) Subdivision creating no additional lots, ninety dollars $0 plus fifteen dollars $ for each lot changed; (C) Minor lot consolidation, seventy-five dollars$1. () Major Development, Conditional Use Permits, Allowable Use Permits, and Wetlands Permits. The fees for these land use actions are based on classes of uses, and shall -1- Ord. 00-
2 be paid upon application for permit issuance or modification as set forth in subsections (A) through (E). The fee for an extension of a permit shall be $0 for any class of use. (A) Class I uses, two hundred dollars$00. Class I uses are: Mobile homes on single lots, (ii) Agricultural uses of under fifty thousand 0,000 square feet, (iii) Residential structures, four or fewer dwelling units, (iv) Transient structures, twelve or fewer rooms for rent, (v) Day care and child care homes, (vi) Accessory or incidental recycling activities under Section..00, Category.1 uses; (B) Class II uses, three hundred fifty dollars$00. Class II uses are: Commercial or enclosed industrial uses with less than ten thousand,000 square feet of building space and using less than one acre of land, (ii) Agricultural uses of fifty thousand 0,000 or more square feet, (iii) Residential structures five to ten dwelling units, (iv) Transient structures, thirteen to thirty 0 rooms for rent, (v) Day care and child care centers, (vi) City and state projects with estimated project cost under five hundred thousand dollars, (vii) Floating residences and floating structures under two thousand five hundred,00 square feet, (viii)(vii) Churches, schools, and additions thereto; (C) Class III uses, six hundred dollars$00. Class III uses are: Commercial or enclosed industrial uses with ten thousand,000 to twenty thousand,000 square feet of building space or using one to three acres of land, -- Ord. 00-
