The Bidder should acknowledge receipt of this Addendum on the Submission Form Appendix A. The date of closing of this tender shall be extended by one week from Tuesday, January 20, 2015 to: Tuesday, January 27, Question: RE:SGP Item 7, Maintaining Utility Services. Paragraph E says owner to compensate utility for any relocation. Paragraph F says contractor? Please clarify and if any services (eg; gas line in road) will be relocated and who makes the decision on what needs to be moved and who pays? Answer: The existing gas service is in close proximity to the work. There is no plan to relocate any existing services. Appendix K in the RFT details the gas utility s requirements for working adjacent to their gas lines, including pipe support, etc. Should there be any unforeseen conflict with the existing plant, paragraph E will apply. 2 2. Question: Part 4, General Terms Item 7 states 95 working days, completion by July 13. April 13 to July 13 is approx.. 63 working days. Please clarify? Answer: Ref Part 5 Terms and Conditions For Installation and Construction, Part 5 page 29 of 73, section 5.13 Contractor s Schedule: Delete The allocated number of working days..no later than July 13, 2015: and replace with The allocated number or working days is sixty (60) with a desired completion date no later than July 10, Question: In the specifications for Hot Mix paving, SPR #8, it indicates we are to use a Load Transfer Device while paving surface asphalt. Is this correct? Please clarify. Answer: The use of a load transfer device is optional in this instance. 4. Question: Can you please identify commercial driveways on dwgs or perhaps put an item for this? Is the Vallee / arena entrance and entrance to vacant lot commercial? Answer: Drawings C1-1 through C1-3 have been revised to indicate which driveways are commercial, or residential, etc. An item has been added to the bid form (see attached). 5. Question: Is the drop off area / semi circle on Dwg 6 commercial, and is the sidewalk on the outside curb faced or what type of curb are you putting here? , ??. Is the asphalt in drop off 50mm or same depth as roadway? Answer: The driveway should be considered commercial see question 4 above. The curb and asphalt are to be consistent with the roadway. Refer to DWG C1-1 (attached). Page 2 of 3

Question: Item E29 line painting: 1) Dwgs indicate solid double yellow centerline / hatched area at Queen St. - no item 2) Confirm xwalk, arrows, and stop bars are durable as per SP Answer: The bid form has been revised to include the centreline and hatched areas (please see attached.) Crosswalks, arrows, and stop bars may be water based paint to OPSS 1716 with glass beads conforming to OPSS 1750, consistent with the other paint items (lane lines, bicycle lanes, etc) under SPR No Question: Drawing E1-1 shows and the states (based on Stresscrete part#) that we are to supply and install a concrete pole on a concrete footing, yet the OPSD quoted on drawing E1-1 is for Installation of Direct Buried Poles in Slopes. Could you please clarify which type of installation is required?if we are installing a concrete pole on a concrete footing could you please provide a OPSD or similar type detail for the concrete footing, as we do not know what structural requirements are for this item. Answer: Revise reference from OPSD to OPSD Concrete Footing for Base Mounted Lighting and Signal Poles. Drawing E1-1 further indicates 1.5m as the height of the pole base, however the pole base height should comply with OPSD (see attached).
