1 Learn What God Wants You to Know! Jesus Is The ONLY WAY To God & heaven! Our Daily BRead Junior Edition

2 SOMETHING YOU MUST KNOW: God is perfect. He is Holy. We are all sinners. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23a KJB) None of us could ever make ourselves perfect or holy to be accepted by God. But God loves us all so much, that He gave His only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to go to the cross and pay the penalty for our sins IN FULL, ONCE and FOR ALL. Jesus died and rose again. Because of the Lord Jesus Christ, God can now make us holy and acceptable to Himself. For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit. (1 Peter 3:18 KJB) Jesus Christ is our ONLY WAY to God and heaven. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6 KJB) Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. (Acts 16:31 KJB) Without Jesus Christ, you can NEVER be accepted by God or go to heaven. When you believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior, God makes you His child. When you leave this world, you will spend all of eternity with Him! But as many as received him to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. (John 1:12 KJB) While you are still here on earth, learn His beautiful Word. Believe it and obey it, so you can enjoy all God has done for you. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom. (Colossians 3:16a KJB)

3 Last September, we began answering the question: What does God want you to know? And we saw that the ONLY WAY you can ever find out what God wants you to know, is for you to Learn what God wants you to know! So since September we have SEARCHED our King James Bible to LEARN some of the MAIN FACTS that God wants us to know. Now of course, the bible is FILLED with facts that God wants us to learn and believe, but in our study since last September, we are learning MAIN FACTS that God says are IMPORTANT TO KNOW facts that our very life and eternal destiny depend on! Today s lesson will be the last one on this topic LEARN WHAT GOD WANTS YOU TO KNOW. But as we said, whenever we study God s Word, we are always learning FACTS that He wants us to know! Before we begin to study our last MAIN FACT (for now anyway), we will REVIEW some of the facts that we have learned so far which God says are EXTREMELY IMPORTANT for us to know. (Remember to have your pencils ready! Underlining & taking notes are helpful ways to STUDY & REMEMBER important FACTS from what we READ! Keep that in mind for your school work, at your job,

4 even at home too!) Read this next scripture. Underline what you think God says are important FACTS for you to LEARN & BELIEVE about Him. For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else. Isaiah 45:18 KJB God wants all of us to know that HE is the ONE who c _ t the _ ea n _. God wants all of us to know that HE is the ONE who f _ e _ the e th. God wants all of us to know that HE did NOT create the earth in v _! God did NOT create the earth to be wasted or empty or worthless! He formed it to be i _ h i_ e _. He formed it to be lived on. God created the heavens & the earth for a purpose! He did NOT create it uselessly or for no purpose. He did NOT create it to be a WASTE! God had REASONS for creating the heavens & earth! We have also just LEARNED from Isaiah 45:18 another of the MOST IMPORTANT FACTS of all about God! What is that FACT?

5 THERE IS NO OTHER GOD but T L D! In fact, one of God s MAIN PURPOSES for creating the heavens & the earth the precise & detailed way that He did is to PROVE that there is no other God but the Lord to all the people whom He would create to live on that earth! God is REAL. And there is only ONE TRUE GOD! Who is He? These next 2 scriptures tell us God s answer to that question: But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: Jeremiah 10:10a KJB Jeremiah 10:10 tells us that the LORD is: THE TRUE GOD! Isaiah 45:5 tells us what God wants us to KNOW about Him: I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. Oh my, we spent many WEEKS learning about all the ways that God has PROVED to us that He is REAL! NO ONE will ever be able to have any excuse at all for not believing that God is real! Why not? Because God says that even if no one ever spoke a WORD to us about Him, all the things in our universe show us CLEARLY that God exists & that He sure is WISE & POWERFUL, FAITHFUL &

6 LOVING! And seeing PROOF of THAT should cause us to want to KNOW Him & what He, the ONLY GOD & CREATOR has to say about things! That should lead us to SEARCH HIM OUT! And as we have ALREADY LEARNED in past lessons, THAT is ONE of the MOST IM- PORTANT REASONS why God has put YOU on this earth! God says so right here in Acts 17:24-27 in your King James Bible. Read it carefully, then underline the MAIN REASON why God put us on this earth! God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things. And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation: That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us. God put ALL of us here on earth EXACTLY where HE wanted us to be so that all of us should s k t _ e L d! Another of the MOST IMPORTANT FACTS God

7 wants ALL PEOPLE to learn & BELIEVE is that Jesus Christ is His Son. Jesus Christ is God,...who is the Savior of all men, specially of those that believe. 1Timothy 4:10b KJB And that brings us for now to our final MOST IMPORTANT FACT that God wants us to know. (Of course there are MANY more FACTS the Lord wants us to know; but for this set of lessons, this will be our last FACT to study.) First CAREFULLY read ALL the following scriptures. All of them tell us what this MOST IMPOR- TANT FACT is. Then, as you compare them, see if you will see that they all have ONE FACT in common. See if you can find this MOST IMPORTANT FACT in each of them & UNDER- LINE what you think it is. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1Timothy 2:3-5 KJB This next scripture, Acts 4:12, tells us something VERY IMPORTANT about The Lord Jesus Christ. In your bible, read Acts 4:10. It tells us that Acts 4:12 speaks of Jesus. Read it CAREFULLY! Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given

8 among men, whereby we must be saved. What God says in this next scripture is VERY CLEAR! When the apostle Thomas asked Jesus how they could know the way to God & heaven, read CAREFULLY what Jesus answered him: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 KJB Have you underlined what you think is the MOST IMPORTANT FACT that God wants us to know in each of these scriptures? Your answers to these next questions will help you see if you underlined the correct fact. In 1Timothy 2:3-5, God s Word tells us that there is only ONE mediator between God & men. A mediator is someone who goes between 2 people or sides to help them reach an agreement or to bring them together. 1Timothy 2:3-5 tells us that there is only ONE Person who can bring us to God. Who is it? t m C e s! In Acts 4:10 &12, God s Word tells us that there is only ONE NAME by which man can be SAVED (from spending eternity in the Lake of Fire). Whose NAME is the ONLY NAME by which we can be SAVED? By the name of J u _ C s t! And finally, John 14:6 tells us that there is only

9 ONE WAY to God & heaven. What is that way? J u _! All 3 questions have the SAME answer! So what is another of the MOST IMPORTANT FACTS that God wants ALL of us to know? It is the FACT that JESUS CHRIST IS OUR ONLY WAY TO GOD AND HEAVEN! You can t try to be good enough to get there. You can t pray to get there. You can t go to church to get there. No other person or god can get you there. There is NO OTHER WAY for us to become God s child. There is NO OTHER WAY to heaven. HAVE YOU BELIEVED IN HIM YET? If you have, now you can tell others about Jesus too! Ask God to give you opportunities to tell others about Jesus. All they have to do to be CERTAIN of heaven is this: Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. (Acts 16:31 KJB) This next scripture is another that tells us about our ONLY WAY to have eternal life with God. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 1John5:11-12 KJB Who are the people who have ETERNAL LIFE? Who are the people who do NOT have eternal life? To which group do you belong? We hope you have JESUS!
