6 Standard Precautions Please read this manual carefully prior to the installation of your TD-CTMD43 Rearview Mirror. M.E.C.P. CERTIFIED INSTALLERS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. TATMAR LLC assumes no liability for failure to follow the proper installation instructions. Please keep this manual in a safe place for future reference. Safety Precautions Safe driving should always be your #1 priority! Do not attempt to modify or repair this unit it will void your warranty! If any repairs are needed, please contact us for a repair center near you. No modifications to the unit or mounting hardware are permitted. After installation is complete, check all connections prior to final assembly. Installation Precautions If this installation requires modification to the vehicle, go to a M.E.C.P. CERTIFIED INSTALLER. First choose a location that will not obstruct the drivers view. The power source is 12V negative ground only. Wait for inside temperature to be comfortable before turning on the unit. Carefully check the clearance in headliner to make sure there are no obstructions. Route cables carefully, make sure they are free from any areas of sharp metal where the harness could rub of chaff the wiring harness

7 Mirror Controls & Features 1. POWER ON/OFF This button turns the rearview mirror monitor system ON and OFF. 2. AV SELECTION Press this button to select the video source input. 3. MENU This button enables the on-screen display menu system. 4. VOLUME INCREASE / UP BUTTON This button is used to increase parameters in the on-display screen display menu system. When the mirror has GPS Navigation installed this button also will increase the volume of the GPS Navigation. 5. VOLUME DECREASE / DOWN BUTTONS This button is used to decrease parameters in the on-display screen display menu system. When the mirror has GPS Navigation installed this button also will decrease the volume of the GPS Navigation.

8 On Screen Display System 1. Press the "POWER" key on monitor to turn on the monitor. 2. Press the "M" key on monitor, the OSD (ON SCREEN DISPLAY) menu will be shown on the display as below. 3. Press "M key on monitor to select to the desired adjustment item. Then press UP" or "DOWN" key to adjust the new setting value. Each adjustment item is shown as below: *BRIGHTNESS Adjustment: Pressing UP key, the screen color gets more bright. Pressing DOWN key, the screen color gets less bright. *CONTRAST Adjustment: Pressing UP key, the screen gets high intensity. Pressing DOWN key, the screen gets lower intensity. *TINT Adjustment: Pressing UP key, the screen color gets greenish. Pressing DOWN key, the screen color gets reddish. *AV SELECTION Adjustment-Selecting AV source input to be Video 1, Video 2 or Video 3. *TRIGGER Adjustment (FOR WHEN GPS IS INSTALLED ONLY) Controlling GPS trigger wire to be ON (functional) or OFF (un-functional). *DEFAULT Adjustment-Returns all setting to factor values. *EXIT Allows you to exit the menu.
