1 1. Brussels Airport Practical Information Brussels Airport is situated 12 kilometres northeast of the Belgian capital. In the Communication Centre and the Airport Forum there are computer terminals with internet, where you can also connect your own laptop. On Level 0 is the First Aid station (tel.: +32(0) ), close to the bus terminal. A Porter service which costs 2.50 per piece of baggage, is available (tel.: +32(0) ). On the website you can find arrival and departure information, as well as information on how to get to Brussels centre. 2. Local transport Regarding transport upon arrival, you are kindly referred to public and other available transport options. The fastest way to reach the hotel by public transport, is to take the train to the Central Station, and walk to the hotel. Please find below a list of the Belgian means of transport: Taxi: Taxis with a taximeter are permanently available in front of the arrivals hall. The fare from the airport to the city centre of Brussels is normally around 35. Licensed taxis can be recognized by the blue and yellow emblem. Train to the centre of Brussels: The airport train station is located below the terminal (basement level-1). Up to 4 trains an hour connect the airport (Brussel-Nationale-Luchthaven / Bruxelles-National-Aéroport) to Brussels North, Brussels Central and Brussels Midi stations. Information on the schedules of all Belgian and international train services can be found on the Belgian Railways website Enter BRUXELLES NAT AIRPORT as departure station or destination. Bus: The bus station is located on level 0 - one floor down from the arrivals hall - and can be easily reached by using the escalators or elevators. Centrally located on the bus station there are three platforms each with its specific use.

2 Public Bus Company: MIVB/STIB The Airport Line is a 30-minute express service between Brussels Airport and the European quarter. All MIVB/STIB buses depart from platform C. At the centre: Leave the bus at the 'Luxemburg stop' (fifth and last stop) From Luxemburg (Trierstraat / Rue de Trèves) to the Hotel du Sablon: Take line 71, direction 'De Bouckère'; Leave the bus at 'Koningsplein / Place Royale ; Walk 400m to the BODENBROEKSTRAAT / RUE BODENBROEK. Meeting venue The meeting will be held at: The Egmont Palace Kleine Zavel 8 / Petit Sablon Brussels Belgium To get to the Egmont Palace, you can pass trough the Egmont Park / Parc D Egmont: Entrance to the park: By the Wolstraat / Rue aux Laines: Passing between numbers 32 and 34, by using the blue-stone stairs; The Egmont Palace is at your left side (flags in front).
