2 Announcement GLISS OPEN 2013 will be conducted for in accordance with the ISU Special Regulations and Technical Rules 2012 and all Respective ISU Communications for figure skating and the classification of the Estonian Skating Union for season 2012/2013 The competition will be held with ISU New Judging System for all categories. All the information will be available on the organizer s web site Competition will be held in the following single skating categories and classes Single Skating A and B class A class: Senior: Ladies, Men ISU Comm 1741 Junior: ISU Comm 1741 Advanced Novice: ISU Comm 1760 Basic Novice A: ISU Comm 1760 BasicNovice B: ISU Comm 1760 Cubs: Chicks: Ladies, Men Girls, Boys B class: Junior: Ladies,Men Novice: Springs: Cubs: Chicks: Pre-Chicks

3 Following categories are for amateur skaters: PRE-YOUNG PRE-YOUNG born in 2002/2003 and younger born in 2000/2001 and younger YOUNG born in YOUNG ADULTS born in ADULTS Ladies,men Bronze Silver Gold Master born from 1986 and elder Adults Pair Skating born from 1986 and elder Artistic Free Skating born from 1986 and elder See A and B categories and amateur skaters classification in technical data The Organizers have the right to split categories if the number of participants requires that. The Organizers have the right to combine categories if the number of participants requires. REGISTRATION OF ENTRIES Each club has the right to enter competitors in any category and class. However, the Organizer shall have a right to limit the number of skaters from invited clubs and shall apply the first come, first serve principle. Entries must be submitted in a written form (see Entry form) Please note your contact information ( , phone) on the entry form. Entry forms must be submitted by December 15, 2012

4 Please address your entry form to Ms Heidy Andersson (Organizer) Phone: ENTRY FEE: Single Skating with one program (A & B Class) 60 Single Skating with two programs: 70 First Single event for amateur skaters and 60 adult amateur skaters Second Single event 30 Pair event 60 /per pair Entry fee must be paid upon registration (right after you have received a participation confirmation, but no later than December ). Entry fee must be paid to the organizers account : UISUKLUBI GLISS MTÜ SWIFT/BIC EEUHEE2X IBAN EE Address: Kotzebue 9-19, Tallinn We kindly ask the clubs to make one payment for all its participants. Entry fee must be payed by December 25, 2012 In case the payment hasn t been done on time, organizer has right to withdraw unpaid participants from entry list. All registration-related procedures ( annulment, changes) must be submitted to the organizer in written form as soon as possible, but no later than December 25, 2011 by e- mail: heidy@tritsutajad.ee In case a skater has been entered in the competition, but cannot participate, she/he can be replaced by another skater. Entry fees are not refunded. AWARDING PROTESTS Three first standings of each category/class will be awarded with a memento. All competitors receive a diploma and present at the awarding ceremony Each team has the right to submit protest against the judges decision. Protests must be submitted to the Referee of the relevant event at the latest immediately after the event. Upon the submission of the protest a protest fee of 50 EUR must be paid. The referee s decision is final. In the new ISU judging

5 systems no protests can be filed against the judges, but against the right determination of the executed element or incorrect mathematical calculation. Please read ISU Rule 123 MUSIC RESPONSIBILITY CD-s can be used. Music (equipped with the full name of the competitor, club and category) must be submitted to the announcer s desk before the relevant event and picked up from the same place after the event. In accordance to ISU constitution, Rule 119, all participants act at their own responsibility THE CODE OF ETHICS All officials (skaters, coaches, judges,chaperons) must follow the ISU comm Action against this rule conducts behind itself the disqualification of skater JUDGES Each participating club may nominate one, at least National category level judge to the Competition. In case of too many judge entrys, the organizer will draw the panels of judges after the deadline. Coaches are not allowed to act as Judges. In case a judge is sent by a competitor/club, the latter is responsible for the judge s transportation and accommodation expenses. However, accommodation compensation in the amount of up to EUR 30 per night is available upon the presentation of a hotel receipt (addressed to Uisuklubi Gliss MTÜ,Kotzebue 9-19). Judges will be granted with daily allowance. Entry forms must be submitted by December 15, 2012 PLANNED PROGRAM CONTENT Competitors are asked to send their planned elements by to heidy@tritsutajad.ee by January 02,2013 at the latest. The Sheet must be filled according to ISU Nomenclature for season 2012/2013 DRAWING January 09,2013 from 15:00 at Premia Ice Rink STARTING ORDER Starting order will be at the organizers web page January 10, NB!
