2 Eco Camp Papagayo Join Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica in celebrating Eco Camp Papagayo 's Fifth Anniversary. Since, 2012, our environmental education Summer program has focused on the study of interactions between plants and animals. Kicking off on May 23 through August 26, our program offers exciting and interactive hands-on activities and field trips designed to teach respect for the environment and the role nature plays in daily life. Ideally enjoyed by children ages 4 to 11, we encourage a new generation to unplug their digital devices and explore the exotic flora and fauna the magical Peninsula has to offer. Some of the educational and fun activities for summer 2016 are: The SandSational Sea Hike, Costa Rica Connection, Marine Life and Conservation, Mangrove Adventure, Birds and Binoculars Tour, Genius Corner and the fun continues with much more adventures to discover each day! Eco-Camp Papagayo is complimentary for guests and available from Monday to Friday from 9:30am through 5:00pm, May 23rd through August 26th. Parents must fill out a waiver form in the Kids Club.

3 Day One Monday Eco-Camp Papagayo introduction, agenda, welcome packets with activities to follow week, registration form etc. During this activity we will go over the Camp Agenda and different activities that we ll have during the rest of the week as well as introduction of each new camp attendee and camp Guides. Completion of registration form and parent waiver. Overview of any type of allergies, medications, physical skills, ability to swim and more. Marine Life and Conservation From 9:30am to 10:30am Venture into this great experience. Come and explore our beaches and tide pools as we take a close-up look at both sides of the water s edge. An ideal camper for this project has a passion for marine life and preservation. Come and help us do something good for the planet, such as beach cleaning and recycling! Plant a Tree, Make Your Mark From 2:30pm to 3:30pm With the help of your digital camera you can capture the best view of the Peninsula and wildlife world in this amazing hike. At the end we will go and contribute to our natural landscape with a tree planting activity! Costa Rican Connection From 3:45pm to 4:15pm Join us as we explore the rich culture of Costa Rica's Pacific side. Experience traditional arts and crafts using natural and recycled materials. We have fun facts and yummy treats to enjoy. Genius Corner, Science Experiments From 4:30pm to 4:45pm Genius Corner was started by a passionate and kid-friendly team with the vision to redefine learning and making the process fun. You too can be a scientists and find answers to all kinds of questions, join us at KFAS.

4 Day Two Tuesday : Welcome kids! At the beginning of each day, KFAS staff will explain the program philosophy to the children. During this activity we will go over the Camp Agenda and different activities that we ll have during the rest of the day as well as an introduction of each new camp attendee and camp guides. Birds &Binaculars Tour From 9:30am to 10:30am Explore the different places where birds make their nests and learn why they choose their neighborhood. Join us for a hike around of our Golf Course and discover why birds come in so many shapes and sizes. Keep your eyes open to see how many kinds of birds you can spot! Kites Take Flight From 2:30pm to 3:15pm Let's fly a kite! Ah, but you ll have to assemble it first. We will provide all the necessary materials and tools to assist you in creating your wind worthy masterpiece. Then you ll have a chance to test your skills and have your kite take flight. Junior Golf Adventure From 3:30pm to 4:30 pm This is a great introduction to the sport on our very own Junior Golf Course! Our experts will show the kids the fun and easy way for them to get into the swing of this game. With specially-sized golf clubs, we play this game and have fun while learning the basics of golf.

5 Day Three Wednesday Welcome kids! At the beginning of each day, KFAS staff will explain the program philosophy to the children. During this activity we will go over the Camp Agenda and different activities that we ll have during the rest of the day as well as an introduction of each new camp attendee and camp guides. The Sand's Secret From 9:30am to 10:30am The beaches we stroll upon are seldom appreciated for what they really are. Each grain of sand is a tiny bit of history, reflecting its origin and forces that have brought it to this place. Ours will be an adventure to discover as we explore this wonderland beneath our feet. Eco Arts& Crafts From 2:00pm to 2:45pm Spend the morning doing a few projects and express your creativity through painting, puzzles, friendship bracelets, sand bottles, mobiles and so much more. Tennis Lessons From 3:00pm to 4:15 pm This children's clinic is an introduction to tennis with basic instruction, fun drills and tennis games. Please meet us at the Kids Club. Genius Corner, Science Experiments From 4:30pm to 4:45pm Genius Corner was started by a passionate and kid-friendly team with the vision to redefine learning and making the process fun. You too can be a scientists and find answers to all kinds of questions, join us at KFAS. Costa Rican Fiesta From 7:00pm to 8:00pm (Reservations Required) During this theme party you ll get to have lots of fun while learning about Costa Rica! We will be playing local games, learning about the colors of the flag, Costa Rican manners and much more!

6 Day Four Thursday Welcome kids! At the beginning of each day, KFAS staff will explain the program philosophy to the children. During this activity we will go over the Camp Agenda and different activities that we ll have during the rest of the day as well as an introduction of each new camp attendee and camp guides. Mangrove Adventure From 9:30am to 11:00am.Mangroves are the forests of the sea. In this natural jungle-gym, strange roots extend into the water providing a nursery for reef creatures and marine birds. Join us at Nacascolo Beach Olympics Family Beach Games From 2:00pm to 3:00pm Ready for this great activity? We hope you are! Today we will be doing different Sports at the Beach like balloon Volleyball, Beach Soccer, Sack Races, and more CREATIVE Kitchen From 3:00pm to 4:30 pm Explore the art of the kitchen and take your very own chef hat and create a decoration food with a selection of ingredients chosen especially for you. 7 Day Five Friday Welcome kids! At the beginning of each day, KFAS staff will explain the program philosophy to the children. SANDsational Sea Hike From 9:30am to 11:00am.Join us for a sea hike along Strands Beach to discover plants and animals native to the Peninsula's coast. Alternatively, explore another local trail to take in the fresh air, natural habitat and stunning ocean views. Along the way, learn about the adaptations of our local plants and animals and understand the effects of the surrounding watershed. Explore the connection between land and sea in this SANDsational world Beach Time From 2:00pm to 3:00pm Explore the beach: build sand castles, participate in hermit crab hunts, crab races, nature walks and sand sculptures. Genius Corner Science Experiments: From 3:30pm to 3:45pm Genius Corner was started by a passionate and kid-friendly team with the vision to redefine learning and making the process fun.
